Saturday night was my high school graduation and my party was Sunday afternoon. That whole weekend my family was coming in to town to watch me walk across the stage. This made me feel happy and amazing. When I got my diploma I was so excited. It felt great to have a great achievement already finished. As my family came and supported me at my graduation was awesome, I felt really proud of myself for what I have accomplished. When Sunday came around I went to church that morning. When I came home we got ready for my party to show off my accomplishments, that I got through high school. As everyone came and left at their time. It felt great to have a weekend devoted to me. Once it was over I went through the gifts and cards that I got. Out of all the great gifts that I got there was only one that made a great impact on me. When I went in to …show more content…
I smile every time I remember what went on, by looking at the pictures. One of my favorite highlights in this book is the page that describes me and the page with my homerun that was a grand slam. These two pages are a few of my top favorite. I know that my Grandma Kintner, had help from my little sister put a lot of effort into the scrapbook. Creating this scrapbook is a huge accomplishment for my Grandma Kintner, and I. This scrapbook reminds me of who I am and it shows me my steps and hard work that it took to get to where I am today. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without help from my family and most importantly my mom, sister and Grandma and Grandpa Kintner. Not only have I put in the hard work for my obstacles in the road. They have been there and know me and have shown me how to work hard and to keep doing the little things and that will be the best way to climb the latter. They wanted me to keep this up and to learn to have fun with what you are doing. My Grandma Kintner has shown me how to have a good work ethic and to stay positive with what I am

Boot Camp Graduation! I remember seeing my moms face and, The tears rollind down her beautiful tan face. The way she looked at me when I read my speech. It wasn't just a speech. It was from the bottom of my heart, something I really ment.
My mom had been going to school in Greeley and staying at my Aunt Margaret's house . She had been away for two weeks and wanted to come home for the Fourth of July weekend. My mom had suggested that I go back with her and visit colleges, shop, go to movies and just spend time together. I had been feeling pretty sorry for myself since she had been gone. I had been working alot as a maid and helping my dad run the house, I was getting very irritated with my siblings as I felt that I was the only family member doing my part to help my dad. I was really excited to have a week with my mom to myself. The whole ride over we were talking about what I wanted to do that week. Making plans and having "me time" seemed very important at the time.
I have never felt more welcome and loved in my entire life, the energy in that room from all these people was incredible. This was the day I began my transition into adulthood, I made a commitment to this community, to God. I turned my life around, I started working harder in school, I matured, and had a positive outlook on my situation. Because of young life I learned
As I turned my tassel from right to left, an overwhelming sensation of joy shot through my body. I finally did it, I finally completed those 4 daunting yet unique years of high school. Not only did I complete high school successfully, I also graduated in the top 10% of my class. Now with each passing day I countdown to when I'll start the next chapter in my life. I know this chapter of my life will be filled with many different emotions and hardships.
Two of the greatest days of my life were the days my daughters were born. The first time I held the both of them and gazed into their eyes I felt a sense of relief and hope. The feeling is a warm tingling sensation that engulfed my entire body. The emotions that I felt are beyond what words can explain. It’s amazing to me that in the first few minutes of their lives they completely changed my perception of the world.
My grandmother was born at a time when the Japanese had invaded Korea. At those times girls were not considered to be very important and guys were valued. That has not changed a whole lot even today. Yet my grandma was an extraordinary women, she was the youngest girl in her family and her mother died when she was only five years old. She went to about third grade because Korea doesn't have a public school system and learned most of her reading and writing skills through her older sisters, who knew a little more than her. My grandma was a fast learner and was able to learn Korean and even Japanese quickly. Living under a very strict father she was not able to go farther than the front yard. She was often discouraged in learning stuff such as math, history, and reading and writing. Most of these stuff was often taught only to boys that could afford it. Girls were not taught anything but how to cook and clean. Regardless of her sex she desired for something better. She learned these basic skills independently and even exceeded in them. She loved reading books and read what she could find and she is the most intelligent person I know.
I am Careena Loy and in this essay I am going to conclude talking about my high school experience. Through my past education I went through good and bad experiences where it me to struggle now through college. I also learned things out of school that made me who I am today. I will also be sharing the ways I have been praised because of my hard work and it has got me to where I am right now. Overall, high school was not a good experience for me just because there was a lot of drama and I wanted to be in college already with mature adults.
This lady is the most wonderful person I 've ever met. She is old, affectionate, and intelligent. It took me eighteen years to realize how much this extraordinary person influenced my life. She 's the type of person who charms everyone with her stories and experiences. She always time for her family and friends. She is the kind of leader who does everything to keep her family together and in harmony. She is my grandmother.
In life many of us experience what it is like to be hurt by those we hold dear. As a young girl I saw this first hand that generally the people we hold the closest actually end up being the people that hurt us the most. You expect more from them and their actions affect you on a deeper level the people you hold to a different standard from your loved ones. My grandmother taught me through the hardships she experienced what it mean to be a genuinely selfless person. My grandmother showed me the best way to live is by ensuring the happiness of loved ones even when they have wronged you
During second semester of my freshmen year, I had a whole new attitude towards my teacher and my work in school. The amount of joy I had when I had recieved my first report card was enormous. I was so excited to show my mother my improvement in school. Once I showed my mother my report card, the shock in her face was overwhelmed with happiness as her smile grew as did mine. This was one of the best moments of my
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers’ license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
In 7th grade I had to get up in front of my class to get, and present a commercial. I was so scared at first because I am a very shy person. It is not easy for me to speak in front a lot of people. As I waited for my turn I felt like I was going to cry. It felt like my stomach was in my throat. In the end I was scared for nothing because when I went up and did really good. The teacher complimented me on my work. After that day I was so proud of myself for conquering my fear. In 8th grade I finally got on the honor roll, again. I was so happy to be on the honor roll, because I hadn’t been on the honor roll in a really long time. seeing all those A’s made me so happy. I felt the same excitement as I felt in kindergarten when I first gotten on the honor
Then, I heard everyone scream “Surprise!” I could not believe my eyes. There was decoration all over the living room, a cake on the table, music and a big bouquet of pink flowers. My eyes start tearing. I was delighted and humbled by how lucky I was to have such an amazing family. I ran up to my parents, my three brothers, and sisters in law and hugged all of them. We started singing and dancing I cannot forget those moments of my life. Then I realized time was running and that I still had to go to my cousin’s house to do my makeup. I rushed to her house leaving my family at home, so they could get ready, and we could later celebrate after the graduation. As, Sandra was putting on my makeup; I was thinking of how I was going to react when they called my name on the stage. I was smiling as I was thinking of the moment of my
