Believing that helping the earth for one day will make a difference, is like believing something because it can be rationalized. Humans, as a species, are programed to rationalize their actions, such as only “helping the earth” on one day because it is better than not helping at all. Even if every single person in the entire world were to “help the earth” at the same time for just one day, the impact would actually be quite minimal. Politicians have tried to agree on a common method to better the earth for current and future generations, and the differences in the methods draws a line. This line draws the perimeter for the two main groups, the liberals and the conservatives. Both groups have a much defined methodology of how they plan to better this earth for all generations. Why can politicians not decide on a common method and where do politicians get the resources and money to achieve their goals? So many questions to answer and yet not one simple explanation comes to mind, and the biggest question being, which method is truly more beneficial toward the earth and humans. Conservative views have a higher success rate than liberals toward the environment in terms of methodology, resources and finances, why their method is chosen, and how they achieve the support of new coming voters.
In order understand the type of methods both parties use, a basic understanding of the foundation of each party is required. Conservatives base their party on not being materialistic, by not letting the materialistic things in life get to them, they can better focus on what is truly important and right in front of them.
