There are a lot of debates surrounding the term, “Abortion.” Some believe that abortion is a choice, while others groups like conservatives believe that it is a Sin, and should be illegal. Individuals have their own reasons to why they want to get an abortion, and that should not be limited by legislators. Abortion should be legal because it is the individual right whether to have a baby or not regardless of their situation. The second reason is in the case of rape and incest, the third reason is, whether the individual is capable of caring for the baby. In the case of individual’s right to abort or care for the baby; the court extended the privacy to a women’s decision in the court overruling of Roe v.Wade. In U.S., having a child is a blessing, but not an easy task. Someone who is not financially independent, a teenager for example, having a baby at that age would be a difficult task. The individual might or might not have a strong family ties that will support her and the baby. If the individual isn’t in a place where she can have the baby, it is not the social value that will pay the bills. It is the skills she has that will qualify her in the work force to be financially independent and care for the baby, but she is not.
