Music is considered nourishment for the spirit. It is likewise considered as solution for a discouraging soul or a tensed personality. Music has its distinctive structures suiting diverse temperaments e.g. established music, hip bounce, shake and move, soul, jazz and so on. Each of these music sorts has their own territorial and social customs. Classic music is used in everyday things and we don’t even realize it. It is used in media on a daily. Classical music is in movies commercials and cartoons.

In the movie Spider-Man 2 they have classical music in it as well. Johann Sebastian BACH Overture (Suite) No. 2 in B minor, BWV 1067: VII. Badinerie, Franz SCHUBERT Piano Quintet in A major, Op. 114, D. 667, "Die Forelle" (The Trout) and Richard WAGNER Lohengrin: Bridal Chorus. These songs were preformed as Operas. The Bridal Chorus is known by many as “Here comes the Bride”. This Opera was about war and witches and actually has a great deal of irony throughout it. The classical music is a nice touch to the pizza time scene of Spiderman 2. I think the creator of the film was using this music to set the scene and build suspense. He was trying to make the viewer question if he could get the job done or not. It shows you the rush that he is in and how he might not make it on time. I think of some of my favorite commercials like the Gatorade commercial- Wade, manning, jeter and sharapova. Gatorade is always trying to make motivational commercials. They try to make commercials that make you want to work hard to have that need for Gatorade. In that commercial is the classical song O Fortuna. O Fortuna was composed in 1963 by Carl Orff. In 1803 Carmina Burana was discovered dating back to the 12th century. Carmina Burana confront issues like love, sex, drinking, gambling, fate and fortune. It was written in Latin, medieval French and German and now today can be found translated into English. O Fortuna is a mediaeval poem in praise of Fate, the mistress of fortune’s wheel and was written. I think that this classical music correlates very well with this commercial.
