It is the maximum number of acres that a person can actually do based on the strength and morals. Malaysia is facing lack of workers in palm oil industry. So they using foreign worker from Indonesia to work in that kind of sector because they are seen harder working in plantations. Besides, salary is one of the factors why they prefer work in Malaysia than in their country. Then, the workers have their own rights wherever they want to work as long as they follow the rules and regulation for foreign worker work in Malaysia. Furthermore, the Indonesian worker came to Malaysia is based on their self interest. There are looking for social benefits for their family, well being and so on. However, some of the Indonesian worker are not interested to work in plantation anymore. The private and public companies are currently facing the lack of workers as a result planters lose up to 5-10 percent of their fruit each year due to labour shortages, cutting Malaysia’s total export revenues by about 2.5 billion ringgit ($766 million) annually. (Anuradha Raghu 2014). Moreover, there is now set a guideline for palm oil companies to use when implementing their commitments to address the deforestation associated with this operation. Biodiesel is considered an environmentally friendly alternative because it reduces the amount many toxic substances. Plants such as soybeans require carbon dioxide from the air to produce their stems, roots and leaves. During biodiesel production from soybean oil, carbon dioxide is produced and released in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is considered a green house gas (GHG). However, this cycle of GHG emission does not neccersarily contribute to the atmospheric carbon dioxide levels. This is because the next soybean crop will reuse the carbon dioxide emitted for its growth. Another important environmental benefit is that biodiesel reduces particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbon (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions. These benefits occur because biodiesel contains 11% oxygen by weight. Oxygen allows the fuel to burn better, resulting in fewer emissions from unburned fuel. And lastly, biodiesel fuels do not contain any sulfur and does not have an unpleasant smell when it is emitted from vehicles.

The study’s methodology was qualitative. While the study recognizes that palm oil plantation increases deforestation and consequently reducing biodiversity, the authors argues that the demand for palm oil up to the year 2020 can be met without any reduction of forest cover through the improvement of yields and conservation of degraded land. Natural resources are being used extensively for construction, industries, transport, and consumption. All this has contributed to the rises of greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide in the atmosphere. The philosophy of agriculture to live harmony with nature is deeply rooted in ancient agriculture and still practiced in India, China and the Andes. Organic agriculture reflects this philosophy, but the recent history of concepts such as organic, bio dynamic, natural farming and other related concepts, can be traced back to early in the 20th century. Conventional agriculture differ from organic farming in terms of usage of chemical fertilizers which increase the nutrient of the soil, usage of genetically modified seeds for better crop production as well as the use of antibiotics and hormones in animal farming. In Malaysia, the major agriculture crop productions are rice, fruits and vegetables (including palm oil production).
