The Beach

The perfect seal of the horizon begins to break to reveal the gleaming

crown of the sun: a new day has begun.

Slowly ascending into the cold dark sky the sun glows vibrantly with

delight, the intense colours fill the sky with warmth; pink

grapefruits, zesty lemons, citrus oranges and cherry reds detailed in

the sky, very much like a brightly coloured Persian rug.

The sea so subtle sparkles preciously brushing up against the

seashore. Looking at the crystal waters that stretch out far into the

horizon getting darker and deeper but still very calm, the ripples are

gentle.

As though walking on a land of gold, the sand so soft, so smooth

glistens as it reflects the suns rays with joy of its presence.

Cool, light and refreshing, the breeze gently kisses up against my

skin and glides through my hair, sending a gentle shiver up my spine.

The rustling of leaves, small orchestra of birds and delicate splashes

of the sea are amazingly soothing and relaxing.

The whole beach itself looks like a painted picture with a spectrum of

colours all merged with one another yet too magnificent to be painted

by the human hand, its perfection at its very best.

Like a dancing male peacock showing off his finely detailed feathers,

the sea also puts on her best show, showing off a wide range of

colours that reflect of her surface with her original twist that

causes the colours to move in an unusual but spectacular pattern.

All the sea really wanted was for her loneliness to end and for people

to come and admire her.

The sun has now reached his destination, on his throne, high in the

sky. Beams of glowing hot rays gleam down as...

... middle of paper ...

...s happy to breathe again, says his

fair well to the sun.

The sun looks down, giving us a last show if his warm, glowing

colours.

Descending from his throne he glides elegantly towards the horizon,

comfortably bedded for a long days rest.

Sunless, the beach feels cold; a sharp icy breeze travels from across

the ocean pushing itself past me, leaving me shivering from head to

toe.

The sea turns black like a bottomless hole but the tips of smooth

ripples are delicately decorated with touches of silver which now

reflect from the moon.

The night's sky is a dark blue, but the moon keeps everything calmly

lit.

Birds have cleared the sky, and nothing can be heard apart from the

calm splashes of the oceans water and the rustling of leaves as the

wind pushes by.

Once again, the beach is deserted.
