The Avengers are a team of superheroes assembled by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and S.H.I.E.L.D. (an international peacekeeping agency) through the Avenger Initiative. They exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and feature all the heroes of Marvel Studios. The team consists of; Iron man/ Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) Captain America/ Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) The Hulk/ Bruce Banner (Mark ruffalo) Thor (Chris Hemsworth) Black Widow/ Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye/ Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner). They were put together to take down Loki (Tom Hiddleston) Thor's adoptive brother from destroying the earth as is. This movie is astonishing and i loved every part of it.
Hands down Robert Downey Jr. is one of the best actors that ever existed and him playing the role of Iron man just made the movie much better. Whedon did an amazing job as making Iron man the lead character that stole the show, because Iron man/ Tony Stark’s personality is what put humor

According to my information (AKA. the internet) there was more than 2,200 special effects added in this movie and most of them were on characters. For Example: The Hulk, the special effects and effort put in the hulk was incredible because they took almost every detail from Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) head to toe. They got almost every feature on his face and copied it on the Hulk making him look more realistic. The hulk was very detailed like his fingerprints showed and he had chest hair that appeared the same on Bruce Banners chest. Other great special effects that were put in the movie are on the Helicarrier “Floating ship” it was amazing how they started it when it came straight out of water where it was all very detailed like the engines and the water how it was all put together was very neat. The music in the movie was very unoriginal and is what you’d expect like the theme
All characters in the movie were played well by the actors in my opinion. They
Rogue One not only surpasses the other films in the franchise, but it does so in a clear and well thought out way. It's a film that had no reason to exist but it does meaningfully with a concise plot. The exposition event is when Director Orson Krennic invades Jyn Else's home and tries to make her father Galen Erso work with the Empire. This ends poorly and the Empire killed Galens wife and takes Galen into their ship while Jyn barely escapes. Rising action then takes place when Jyn, K-2SO and Cassian arrives at the holy city of Jedha. They soon discover Saw Gerrera and find out that they need to get the Death Star plans. They then head to Eadu to find Galen Erso and after sometime arguing head to the Imperial’s base on Scariff. The climax occurs when Jyn Erso is about to send the Death Star plans to the rebellion but confronts Krennic. Cassian defeats him and he goes with Jyn to the beach while the watch the planet blows up. The falling action is when Darth vader inceps the Death Star plans but the rebels escape. The resolution is when Prisons Leia is asked what the plans mean and she says Hope.
In the article, The Masked Avengers, by David Kushner, Kushner describes and goes into detail about the life of a man named, Christopher Doyon. Kushner starts his article with the childhood of Doyon and how he became involved with hacking groups early in his life. Doyon’s mother passed away when he was a child and he grew up with an abusive father. At fourteen years old, Doyon left his abusive home and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts where he joined his first hacker group called the Tech Model Railroad Club. Although Doyon was very into computers and hacking groups, he was not a skilled coder. He felt that he was more of an activist and that using computers and technology was his way to get his point across.
Not a lot of special effects were used in this play. The only special effect used was the lighting effects. They were used to create more depth into the play. It worked very well as it made the play seem all the more realistic.
Based on the memoir by Chris Kyle American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, American Sniper is a biographical film that depicts the exploits of Kyle before, during, and after his multiple tours of service in Iraq. The film details especially the pain of the war for Kyle and his wife Taya, and how throughout his four deployments, Kyle steadily began to suffer more and more from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). However, even though Kyle seemed to have been suffering and saw how his service as a Navy SEAL was damaging his relationship with his family, he nonetheless went back to Iraq four total times. Once again, the War is a Drug metaphor is a key reason.
What makes the stereotypical superhero so special is that he/she has superpowers. Superman has almost every mainstream superpower in his arsenal, Thor has the power of lightning, and Professor X is a mutant born with extreme telepathy. Then there are those such as Batman, Iron Man, and Captain America who all received their abilities through either wealth, intelligence, or genetic augmentation. Initially I was all for wanting to be superman for a day, as I would imagine most people would. But then something occurred to me: Why would I want to be him? And after further consideration, I realized I wanted to have his powers, but wouldn’t want to actually be him, or rather who he is. Then I skipped over the arrogant, yet cool, persona of Iron Man straight to Captain America and re-evaluated. I deeply appreciated his heroism, belief in team work, and balanced use of lethal and non-lethal force, but above all his ethically driven character. Captain America would be highly favorable, but there was something still missing. Then I reintroduced my, currently unmentioned favorite superhero, Hawkeye, into the mix. Hawkeye exhibits nearly almost every positive aspect of Captain America, but benefits from his own compassion and self-sufficient characteristics. The prompt requests I explain why I’d wish to change places with Hawkeye and the simple answer is because I believe I can associate with him more than any other superhero.
We live in a world facing many serious problems. Even with things like terror attacks and world hunger I find pollution the worst problem of them all. Mother Earth has become a dumping ground for all the waste produced such as garbage, smog, and oils or harsh chemicals. Now imagine the world without any form of pollution. Can’t imagine it can you? If I could have any power, it would be the power to make anything I wanted disappear and let me tell you why.
An age old argument between major superhero fans is who is the one that above all the numerous others. Traditionally the hero with the most power tends to rank the number one spot. However, when you delve into the true definition of what a hero is you tend to question your loyalty to the “big name” superheroes. The number one superhero should be the one that fits the description of a hero exactly. A hero is one that goes beyond human limitations to reach a helping hand to one in need or in danger forging their own safety and convenience.
The media text I have chosen is the movie Avengers Age of Ultron. Avengers Age of Ultron is about Captain America, Black Widow, Iron man, Scarlet Witch, Quick Silver, Hawk eye, Thor, Vision and the Hulk teaming up together to defeat this robotic villain named Ultron. This all started because Tony Stark who is Iron man experimented on Loki’s scepter. Tony created an artificial life from it which was Ultron. Ultron turned evil because he thought that the only way for peace was for all of humanity to die. He made it his mission to kill every single human on earth with Pietro who is Quick Silver and Wanda who is Scarlet Witch help. When Wanda and Pietro found out that Ultron planned on killing the entire human race they joined up with Avengers.
The props and CGI department really came through on this movie. The futuristic clothing, the game monitoring system, and in-game manipulations were top of the line. The forest fire scene seemed very realistic to me. I’m not sure how much, if any, of the movie was filmed on location, but the forest scenes came across as
Superheroes are a very common interest in our society. They impact people’s lives and make their audiences feel empowered. St. Ambrose University students of Media theory and ethics calculated data in order to find their results that correlated with their research questions. In my personal research, I chose a specific question. My research question is, “What are superhero movies teaching their audiences and has that alternated through the eras?” This question was chosen because growing up I have seen multiple superhero movies, but never put much though into them. After reading some interesting articles about how these types of movies can affect kids mentally, I wanted to explore more. During these next pages, you find the data that was collected
Thor is a hero, he is working to defeat his brother from doing harm to the world. On the other hand, Loki is a villain, trying to destroy the world. Thor is basically spending his whole life trying to vanquish Loki, but Thor isn't doing alone. He has the help of more superheros, for instance, Captain America, Iron Man, Black widow, and more. All these superheros have different powers that all go well together, while Loki only has the help of strange powerless aliens. Without the help of these heroes, Thor would not be able to conquer his
Growing up I was surrounded by comic book entertainment and their many superheroes. There were Batman, Superman, the Flash, and many more which became role models to me as I grew older but as I grew older I noticed they were all male role models. Movies, television, toy lines they all featured male superheroes but what ever happened to the female heroine? Where are these female role models for little girls to look up to if they chose to have a superhero as a role model other than the male heroes? Why is it that the entertainment industry chooses to push for male superheroes and not the female heroines, perhaps they are stuck in their ways since the dawn of the comic book? Children should be given the chance to choose a role model that they
Everybody loves special effects in movies. They are one of the main instruments that give movies life. All of the great movies, especially the ones with superheroes such as Spiderman Homecoming, Captain America Civil War, Wonder Woman, they all have hundreds of special effects. I always wondered how were those effects made, how hard, and how much effort must be put into them to make the effect look as realistic as possible, which made me consider taking the path of a special effects technician. It is a fun job as it is a difficult one also depending on the area of specialization you might want to apply for, and then there is the career path from production assistant all the way to a special effects coordinator, and finally, the hardest part
With his one of a kind armor suits, quirky characteristics and beyond extreme superpowers, Iron Man is by far one of the supreme Marvel superheroes. While most superheroes are commonly known for simply ‘saving the day’, Iron Man goes above and beyond. His sarcastic attitude and witty comments are hilarious and bring a sense of humor to viewers and fans, showcasing that he is so much more than your typical superhero. Iron Man is simply incomparable and his superiority and even more intelligent mind are just additional examples for his greatness. He is looked upon as a leader to others and has saved the planet more than enough times as proof of his hard work. Even without the suit, Tony proves to be a superhero with his worthy and kind intentions. Long live the legacy of an incredible man, and superhero!
