Every Marvel comic book fan that has faithfully watched every single one of Marvel’s other films is packed into a local theater as they prepare for what is the literal collection of all of Marvel’s most iconic comic book heroes into one spectacular fight fest. It is Marvel’s mashup otherwise known as Marvel’s The Avengers directed by Joss Whedon. The movie stars all the main protagonist of its previous films and include appearances from Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America and many more superheroes and their corresponding actors. The movie follows many Marvel movies as it is obviously a superhero action film that evokes childhood memories of comic books. Firstly, Marvel’s The Avengers focuses on the “Avengers” and how they came together to fight a common threat that none of them could face alone. The group of superheroes battle amongst and within themselves as they try to cope with their inner turmoil; meanwhile, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) an alien invasion to take over the world for himself. The band of heroes must push past these differences and come together as a team for the common good of the world that they are bound to protect as an alien invasion looms and an all-out war ensures between the newly formed Avengers and the invading alien force that will change the Marvel movie universe forever.
Secondly, the host of iconic figures in Marvel’s The Avengers is central to the theme of the movie itself as the title of the movie involves a team of Marvel’s mightiest superheroes banding together to fight a common enemy bigger than all of them. The movie does this by incorporating characters such as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) to

This is significant because the movie would suffer greatly from subpar special effects and would be in an overall lower quality movie to watch visually as the explosions would not be as interesting and the fight scenes would seem forced. A prime example is the three-way fight scene involving Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America since the rays and blasts from Iron Man’s suit are directly made from special effects as are the abilities of Thor’s hammer such as calling in thunder to decimate the forest around them. The final clash of the fight which involves the three seeing that the fight has charred the forest surrounding them was completely done by special effects and looked like an actual wildfire had hit the area. Therefore, the special effects not only enhance the scenes that are portrayed on screen but can sometimes be the actual basis of the whole scene since the scene would not be portrayed accurately without the use of special effects. These special effects help to liven up the movie and strengthen it as a superhero movie in general and tie in parts of the movie that otherwise would not be
The films name is “Thor” released in 2011 and created by “Marvel” Studios. The film was published by “Joseph Michael Straczynski” and directed by “Kenneth Branagh.” The films running time is about 2 hours long. The main featured actors in the film are, “Chris Hemsworth, and Natalie Portman. The 2011 movie, Captain America, is an action-packed, inspiring story about a weak boy who transforms into a powerful superhero. Although I have previously watched this movie, I noticed many new aspects to it. Ethos, pathos and logos are embedded deep within this film showing that Captain America is an American hero.
Kevin Feige explained, "People have been asking me that for 15 years. In 2001, 2002, 2003 there were two Marvel Studios' films, three Marvel movies, and I still feel sure of the truth of the same thing, which is as long as the ones that we can control are as good as they can be, that's all that I care about. I think we've been doing pretty well. I showed confidence in the films we've declared that we have come forward that they're going to be surprising and different and being the only one of its kind. I've said a lot: I don't believe in the comic book genre. I don't believe in the superhero genre. I believe that each of our movies can be very unique."
Marvel has been releasing blockbuster after blockbuster for over the last decade. Marvel movies have action, a great story line, and even some comedy. Some of my favorite movies that Marvel has released are: the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Amazing Spiderman. DC movies, on the other hand, are awful and boring. Most of them don’t have a story line, they’re slow in telling the superheros story, and they aren’t based off the comics. Some disappointing DC movies that I thought would be great but weren’t: Green Lantern, Man of Steel, and the Dark Knight Rises. While the future of Marvel movies are looking bright (Dr. Strange, Captain America 3), the DC movies will probably crash and burn (Batman vs Superman, Suicide
Every child in the United States has heard or read the Marvel and DC comics books. If you have not then you have probably have heard of their characters like the famous star spangled hero, Captain America, or the Dark Knight himself, Batman. Both Marvel and DC has influenced the children and adults of American in its darkest times. The great wars affected many by its poisonous grasps, and its victims sought comfort with the antidote provided by the marvelous illustrators and writers of comic books. Now their cinematic counterparts are here to inspire the 21st century. The Marvel and DC cinematic universes have similar content, they both have unique characteristics that set them apart.
Meanwhile the sound effects and special effects in Deadpool was off the charts. It adds to the movie and made it realistic with the sounds of comedy mixed in with violent action. The sound effects in this movie makes the movie more interesting and makes it comical. For example throughout the movie there are jokes made along with a lot of loud noises. Such as the sound of the unloading of guns, the active sounds of fighting, collapsing of buildings and explosions. Another thing that was big in this movie was the special effects in the movie. For example early in the movie Deadpool was confronted by some guys on the highway. However deadpool pulls out his gun and with the help of special effects the killings were in slow motion and gave it a realistic feeling. Likewise, the special effect and sound effects made the movie complete as a whole solidifying the suspense and action packed thrill moments of the
I have always been a huge fan of “Marvel” movies. With the new “Avengers: Infinity War” coming out I decided to watch the only “Marvel” movie I forgot to see “Thor: Ragnarok.” If you are into the “Marvel” movies you know that every movie needs to be watched with close attention. All of these movies intertwine with each other and I feel that is what makes these movies so special. “Thor: Ragnarok” for me was what tied everything together for me to help ready myself for the new movie coming out.
Marvel’s third and final installment of the Captain America trilogy was an outstanding box office smash hit that was viewed and loved by millions. Captain America: Civil War was a good movie all throughout several aspects of it, including the cast, the great use of all the characters the movie had at their disposal, the cinematography, the acting, the CGI, and the story. What had made Captain America: Civil War stand out a bit and to fully make it a truly exceptional movie were the action, the plot, the greater picture that this movie will provide further on for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as the great choice of having a strong black male lead, and having strong female characters in the movie as a good way of representation in a very white male dominant profession within Hollywood.
Think the actor would have a Harry Potter type of upbringing here. The web-slinger would get his own solo movie. Which would potentially feature Iron Man in it. The title expected could be The Spectacular Spider-Man or maybe even Spider-Man:The New Avengers.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017) The movie I chose is Thor: Ragnarok; I am a big marvel fan and especially a huge fan of Thor. I’ve been familiar with Thor since 2011; I have watched all the marvel films to date. It actually wasn’t until I took this class to learn that Thor is part of Norse mythology.
Iron Man is the infamous comic book superhero brought to popularity by the well-known movie Iron Man. The little details like, his true name, his arch-nemesis, who his character was based on are important. Iron Man was the founding member of The Avengers, many may have thought it was the loyal Captain America. This proves how little is known about Iron Man. There has been whole comic book series, movies, and TV shows based off Iron Man.
After he saved himself with a box of scraps he turned his life around and became Iron Man to redeem his past mistakes as a weapons monger. Robert Downey Jr is a less intense version of that, his terrorist kidnapper being his drug addiction and his turn around is also becoming a “Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. ”(Avengers 2012) with his portrayal of Marvel’s Iron Man. He’s grown to be one of Hollywood’s best A-list actors and has mentored almost all the incoming Marvel actors. His peers hold Downey in high regards, often commenting on how he’s helped them feel welcomed, and how Downey has been nothing but a kind soul to them.
Among the highest-grossing movies of all time are numerous landmark films, such as Titanic, Avatar, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Taking their place alongside these cultural touchstones are mammoth blockbusters of a new breed: action-packed superhero epics. Each year, the number of superhero movies due for release seems to grow exponentially. One glance at a list of upcoming movies for this year reveals that the box office is absolutely saturated with superhero films. Some highly-anticipated installments feature heroes already well-acquainted with the big screen, such as Captain America and the X-Men, while others are introducing relatively unfamiliar characters to contemporary movie-going audiences, as in the cases of Doctor Strange and
Over the past nine years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has seen the addition of a significant amount of new heroes and characters, while also allowing classic heroes such as Iron Man and Captain America to be fleshed out and developed over the span of the films. Iron Man, also known as Tony Stark, is a rich genius who developed his own technologically-equipped suit of armor. The character had the honor of paving the way for future MCU films when his leading film was released in 2008. Since then, the self-proclaimed “genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist” has played a major role in many MCU films, his most recent being Spider-Man: Homecoming (“Avengers”). In contrast, Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers, is a super-soldier
With his one of a kind armor suits, quirky characteristics and beyond extreme superpowers, Iron Man is by far one of the supreme Marvel superheroes. While most superheroes are commonly known for simply ‘saving the day’, Iron Man goes above and beyond. His sarcastic attitude and witty comments are hilarious and bring a sense of humor to viewers and fans, showcasing that he is so much more than your typical superhero. Iron Man is simply incomparable and his superiority and even more intelligent mind are just additional examples for his greatness. He is looked upon as a leader to others and has saved the planet more than enough times as proof of his hard work. Even without the suit, Tony proves to be a superhero with his worthy and kind intentions. Long live the legacy of an incredible man, and superhero!
