Pregnancy succession can range from first time success to never having success at all. Many western religious groups of people view child conception as a gift of God, and believe all babies conceived should be born. Despite the fact, whether the parents are ready to take on all the extremities of parenthood or not. The miracle of God known as infant life varies from gift to curse depending on the type of environment the newborn is brought into, as well as if both parental figures are ready for such a lifetime commitment. Pregnancy is viewed as a blessing, but sometimes abortion might be the better option.
Accidental or planned pregnancy happens, but depending on both parents ability to produce children, sometimes a baby might not even be an

As of 2015 in America, “About half (51%) of the 6.6 million pregnancies in the United States each year are unintended”(Unintended Pregnancy in the United States). While not all unintended pregnancies are by one specific group of people, parents who practice western religion that have unintentional pregnancies must drop everything to take care of the baby. Regardless of other commitments they have, school, work, or any other extracurricular activities they must stop all and redirect their entire lives towards the path of parenthood. The environment and attitude of both parents directly impact, “The young child. Baby is dependent on adults for physical survival, emotional security, safe base for learning, regulating, modeling and mentoring social behavior. His caregivers impart all the information about the workings of the world and rules for living.”(Nurture) From the time of birth, babies begin to mature mentally, emotionally, and physically. Babies attitude throughout life will be molded forever by their first few years of life, and within the first years of life is when parents are most influential, their attitudes towards each other as well as their child will forever set up the mindset of the child. How the parents chose to keep their environment around baby during the first few years of life will determine how their child will act during the rest of the childhood stages and will shape the outlook of their baby as curse or
In kilner’s case study “Having a baby the new-fashioned way”, present a story that can be relatable to a lot of families struggling to have a child. This is a dilemma that can be controversial and ethical in own sense. The couple that were discussed in the case study were Betty and Tom. Betty and Tom who are both in their early forties who have struggled to bear children. Dr. Ralph Linstra from Liberty University believes that “Fertility can be taken for granted”. Dr. Ralph talks about how many couples who are marriage may run into an issue of bearing a child and turn to “medical science” to fix the issue. He discusses that “God is author of life and he can open and close the womb”. That in it’s self presents how powerful God.
Pregnancy and the birth of a child throughout many cultures is viewed as a gift, either from God or from any other supernatural figure that they worship. If the pregnancy is terminated for any reason or there are complications it is also viewed in a large group of cultures as a punishment, or because you did not closely follow the rules or regulations of your culture. The process, emotional, and physical stress of bearing a child places mothers and family in a position of opportunity along with placing within them great responsibility. Mothers planning to bear children ideally need to be within the healthy weight range along with being well nourished, but this is not always the case. Many mothers to be are surprised when they realize or are
In William Blake’s Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, many of the poems correlate in numerous aspects. For example, The Chimney Sweeper is a key poem in both collections that portrays the soul of a child The Chimney Sweeper in Innocence vs. The Chimney Sweeper in Experience In William Blake’s Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, many of the poems correlate in numerous aspects. For example, The Chimney Sweeper is a key poem in both collections that portrays the soul of a child with both a naïve and experienced persona. Blake uses the aspects of religion, light versus dark imagery, and the usage of the chimney sweeper itself to convey the similarities and differences of the figure in both poems. The Chimney Sweeper is an excellent example of how William Blake incorporated religion into his poetic works.
Many couples who are infertile can not handle the financial responsibility of multiple children. If a couple has seven children in one pregnancy, the financial strain can lead to chaos. There were only three sets of living septuplets in the United States in 1997, according to the Knight-Ridder's journalist Tracy A.
Infant Sorrow by William Blake is about the birth of a child into a dangerous world. The meaning behind this poem is that when a baby is born, they are entering a place that is unfamiliar to them and is full of hazardous circumstances and then seeks for safety and comfort by sulking on the mother's breast. Instead of blatantly telling the reader, Blake uses several poetic devices to deliver the meaning of Infant Sorrow. Some of the devices he uses are images, sound, figurative language, and the structure to bring out the meaning of his poem.
Every day, an overwhelming amount of human beings’ lives are terminated. The culprit: unwanted pregnancies. Many woman are (not by choice), becoming pregnant as a result of unsafe sex, rape, and other things. So what is one to do when they discover that they’re pregnant? They have some alternatives: (1) have the child and raise it (2) have the child, then give it up for adoption (3) get an abortion. Sadly, many women choose alternative three, unaware of what they’re getting themselves into.
It isn’t just your body anymore, once you 're pregnant there 's a defenseless baby inside of you that only you can protect. You can give your child a happy life and help a couple that can’t physically reproduce have a baby.
Being a mother is a lifelong job that requires copious time, energy, and money. There are myriad different reasons in which a woman would consider getting an abortion. The decision is often tragic and painful for the mother. It is one of the biggest choices a woman will make. Many people have strong beliefs about abortion, and if a mother makes a decision that they do not agree with they sometimes turn against the mother, and enkindle egregious feelings about their decision for the rest of their life. Indeed a woman may not get an abortion for selfish reasons or out of convenience, but out of a desire to protect certain important values such as her own health or a decent standard of living for the other members of the family. Additional intentions for having abortion include rape, financial difficulties, obligation by family members, or danger to the baby’s health (Roleff
It is clear that every woman has the right to make their own decisions no matter of the situation they may be in. The decision the woman makes should never have to be compared or even justified against what other people think due to the fact the woman will be the one bearing the child and going through the whole nine month process. What would you do in a situation where you were just too young to give birth to a child? What would you do if you were not in a financially stable environment? Why would you bring an unwanted human being to life, costing hatred, frustration and agony towards a baby that does not deserve it? Is this what society really wants thousands of neglected children around the world?
When making the choice of whether or not to get an abortion a woman may be face with pressure from all facets of her life. Sometimes religious families will pressure the pregnant woman to influence her choice with threats or emotional difficulties. Friends may even abandon or turn on the individual, increasing the difficulty of the process. Even the individual’s religious beliefs become a test of faith or convenience. These internal influences can cause just as much emotional damage as the external. Donatelle states, “Although feelings such as regret, guilt, sadness, relief, and happiness are normal, no evidence has shown that an abortion causes long-term negative mental health outcomes” (108) and “Given that unintended pregnancies are the pri...
The idea of bringing an unwanted baby into the world is wrong in so many ways. I personally believe having a child is an important decision that requires consideration, preparation, and planning. Having both parents to love, protect and care for the child should be the ideal way, but not having any of those would be devastating. According to “ The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Article , it stated that “unintended pregnancies are associated with birth defects, low birth weight , maternal depression, increased risk of child abuse ,lower educational attainment, delayed entry into prenatal care, a high risk of physical violence during pregnancy, and reduced rates of breastfeeding.” (75). As stated in the article, unintended pregnancies can become a result of many risks. I strongly agree with this statement because as I mentioned before a pregnancy requires plenty of consideration. For example, if a woman becomes pregnant and she is a drug addict, she is prone to put the drugs over the baby ,and that baby is likely to be born with some disabilities because of he or she was not taken seriously. In addition, a woman is more likely to become unemployed and therefore the woman would not be able to take care of herself or the baby. Furthermore, what about teenage girls that get pregnant
Abstract: William Blake's Songs of Innocence contains a group of poetic works that the artist conceptualized as entering into a dialogue with each other and with the works in his companion work, Songs of Experience. He also saw each of the poems in Innocence as operating as part of an artistic whole creation that was encompassed by the poems and images on the plates he used to print these works. While Blake exercised a fanatical degree of control over his publications during his lifetime, after his death his poems became popular and were encountered without the contextual material that he intended to accompany them.
Blake's poems of innocence and experience are a reflection of Heaven and Hell. The innocence in Blake's earlier poems represents the people who will get into Heaven. They do not feel the emotions of anger and jealousy Satan wants humans to feel to lure them to Hell. The poems of experience reflect those feelings. This is illustrated by comparing and contrasting A Divine Image to a portion of The Divine Image.

Although both Blake and Wordsworth show childhood as a state of greater innocence and spiritual vision, their view of its relationship with adulthood differs - Blake believes that childhood is crushed by adulthood, whereas Wordsworth sees childhood living on within the adult. In the William Blake’s Songs of Innocence and of Experience, the vision of children and adults is placed in opposition to one another. Blake portrays childhood as a time of optimism and positivity, of heightened connection with the natural world, and where joy is the overpowering emotion. This joyful nature is shown in Infant Joy, where the speaker, a newborn baby, states “’I am happy, Joy is my name.’” (Line 4-5).
