Over the last 25 years technology has adapted to somewhat take over our lives. Photography has also adapted in order to serve the publics needs as well as transform itself to keep up with the technological advancements. I feel that technology changes to fit the culture that it serves and in our culture we want more and we want it fast. Twenty years ago photography’s main focus was image quality and simplicity of the art. This made the challenge making it so everyone could be a photographer. Whether you are trying to merely save a memory for your family to enjoy later or you are trying to depict an image of war in order to use in a piece in an important newspaper article. This has become very clear in the past ten years. Since the evolution …show more content…
With the invention of the IPhone it made it possible for regular people to take high quality pictures with their phones. This started a movement with the population that would carry us to where we are today. Pictures have become a staple in our lives and in our social media. With the creation of Facebook taking a picture and sharing your experiences has become equality important as having the experience yourself. This has made the cell phone industry, the photo industry and the application industry tailor its products to fit this new culture of our “selfie” crazed population. It is important for these companies to be forward facing and try to predict what market they have to position themselves in so that they can succeed. This is a major key for a company like Apple. We would have to determine what would be needed/wanted in the upcoming 25 years and we must find a may to produce it. I think that in the future we will be very open with the pictures that we take with our friends. Since the time that we spend looking at our phones has increases I expect this to continue and in 25 years we will be in constant communication with our friends. I think something that would be popular is the ability to see what the other person is seeing when they are trying to take a picture. This wouldn’t let everyone see your private material but you could select friends that would have access to see what you were doing and could comment on it instantly. This would basically be an around the clock instagram. This would be something that could help Apple become even more apart of their costumers lives by providing the service that literally connects them to their friends and family 24 hours a
Photography is a part of almost everyone's everyday life whether it is through a smartphone, laptop, or professional camera. Before the late 1800s, though, even a simple picture was not possible. Although many people worked hard and put their ideas and inventions of new cameras in the world, Louis Daguerre is among one of the most important. Michael Hart, in his book, The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, ranks Daguerre as the 47th most influential person in the world. This ranking is appropriate because of the many ways his invention influenced today's world. His technique was practical and widely used in the 1800s. Although his methods are different

Anyone today would agree that as far as photography is concerned, we have most certainly advanced far beyond what many of photography’s pioneers could have possibly imagined. The ease in which we are so readily able to document our lives through photos, along with the quality of those photos, is simply amazing. However, there is a certain authenticity that is found in the antiquated processes of photography that modern pictures simply can’t deliver.
This trend also found roots in the emergence of photographic technology, originally developed in the early 1800’s and advanced continuously until the present. During this time, artists and photographers suddenly found that they could much more easily captur...
The photos of Baker, Florida are probably meant to highlight the economic problems in Florida during the 1920s. One photo shows a building that used to be a bank but is now a barbershop. The descriptions that come with the photos describe Baker as a town that used to be prosperous until the railroad tracks were torn up. This is further emphasized by another photo that makes Baker look like a ghost town. During the depression over 150 banks in Florida closed. In addition “the operating revenues of two of the largest railroads in Florida went into receivership.” This would explain the pitiful condition of Baker in the photos. The purpose of the photos is to show the dismal economic conditions in Florida. Therefore, it’s possible that they were intended to convince people that something had to be done about Florida.

When going for a walk, a person takes in the beauty around them. On this particular day, the refulgent sun is extra bright, making the sky a perfect blue. White, puffy clouds fill the sky, slowing moving at their own pace. The wind is peacefully calm, making the trees stand tall and proud. There is no humidity in the air. In spite of the fact that advancements are always advancing, the ideas of principal photography stay, and knowing these essential standards can help you improve your capacities so you'll get to be more satisfied with your photographs. Photos permit us to catch minutes and stop them after some time. Memories are made in it, scrapbooks are loaded with them, and our dividers are charmed in them. On the off chance that your portrait may be justified regardless of a 1000 words, then your ideal photograph can express feeling, pass on an idea, and recount an unfathomable story.
What do you consider art? Paintings, sculptures, drawings, or maybe something else. I know, when I think of art, I think of photography. Photography Is used for business, science, manufacturing, art, recreational purposes, mass communication, and more. He said, “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” Photography has a long interesting history, like the fact that the word photography is made up of two greek words, photos meaning ‘light’ and graphein which is ‘to draw’ ! Photography also has some complicated techniques to get a hang of taking good photos. Have you heard of the rule of thirds? Or do you know how a camera works? Well, that will all be explained. Maybe, by the end you will take up photography too. This essay will explore the history and types of cameras and the basic rules for taking photographs.
