The Civil War performances on the United States lead to an incredible outcome. The Civil War helped create the country we live in today. From 1861- 1865 was an outstretched of intensity for the nation. Two unanswered questions that the Revolution left behind were answered by the Civil War.
In 1860 when Abraham Lincoln won the presidency, he pledge with his admirable strong voice to keep slavery out of territories. The Confederate States of America helped form a new nation by the slave states in the South. The Northerner people were not impressed with Lincoln’s decision; they feared that the democracy would create the United States and form smaller countries.
War broke out at Fort Sumter in Charleston Bay in 1861, forcing the United States to lower our pride and joy, the flag, and fired their shots on federal garrison. By the end of 1861, around a million armed men shook hands with each other in the two state stretches from Virginia to Missouri. This was only a minor problem for the United States at the time; the United States was not prepared for what was down the road. Blood shed heavily in 1862 at battles like Shiloh in Tennessee, Fredericksburg in Virginia, and Gettysburg in Pennsylvania were an eye sores for the United Sates. The Northern goals never came to be accomplished, they hoped for limited war but instead they received “total war.” The union used this to their advantage and destroyed the Old South and their passion for slavery which helped create the “new birth of freedom.” President Lincoln created the Gettysburg Address and a cemetery for the loved one that took their last breath for the United States.

...e US government would not be able to pay off its obligations. As the railroads failed so did five thousand American businesses as well. Europe soon felt the side effects of the depression, as well as South America and Far East. This impact tragedy took a year and half to only recover a little piece of the United States. In the 1840s the beautiful site of gold were being discovered in the Mexican-American War. Gold poured into American economy hands like a water fall. The change on the US economy was careless in the worldwide market. Sparks like British investors to remove founds from America banks, the fall of grain price, and the collapse of land speculation, all lower the value of stocks and bonds. These effects played a role on the US banks.
