The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is one of those well-written fictions which can drive the readers right into the plot and can make you dissolve into the whole plot. It becomes really difficult to stop going through the whole plot once you have started reading it. It is that strength of words which has been efficiently utilized by the author making this whole book a real adventure for the readers. Once the readers have started the book, it is their utmost desire to finish each and every adventure in the very first go. The way the author has crafted the whole fiction is marvelous and being on top of his trait, one can give a firm assurance about the fact that there would not be anyone out there who reads this fiction and don’t like it.
To subdivide the whole plot, there has been three sections which can be used to describe the whole book in one go. The style which the author has utilized to write the whole book up is almost the similar one and the uniqueness in his writing has made this whole thing so beautiful. The division of the whole plot into three main categories constituting upon the plot, narrator and the characters can help develop a good understanding about the book. The author has beautifully utilized his strengths over these three main elements and has made sure that as the basics go right, the whole fiction falls right in the balance with the story.
Starting from the plot, there has been a distinct element in the author’s writing that the plots have seemed to be similar to each other. It is also admirable how he has controlled everything and didn’t allow anything to flow beyond his limits, after which, he won’t be able to control the situation. This book, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is surely one of the best fictions in the history of book-writing and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has quite rightly proven his skills through this book.

The author uses many way of telling the story buy enhancing the reader understanding in rregrades to the point of view of the story line. The author, Jon Krakauer expresses and explains this stroy in many unique ways throughout the entire book using other authors quotes to tie in with his story, the constant change in the setting, and references the creates a unique structure to the book.
One of the key aspects of Doerr’s novel is his usage of two alternating main characters who - until later in the book - have entirely separate story arcs. Using an alternative way of storytelling is important because it shows the reader that there are different ways to write novels with deviations from the boring, sequential, one-timeline novel. Additionally, this use of simultaneous timelines is effective in keeping the reader interested. Each chapter ends a cliffhanger, keeping the reader on the edge of their seats engaged in the novel.
In the movie Holmes, in the beginning, was much more prideful and rude to Watson and people in general, but later on, Holmes was a lot nicer and somewhat humble at least compared to the book. This difference made the viewer feel less liking of the character of Holmes and it almost seemed that the director tried to save Holmes’s character by making him nicer at the ending. The difference had a big impact on the feeling of the movie because it felt that he was so stuck up he was rather unapproachable. ...
