Imagine if the computer was never invented. The world would not have the advances in technology or the multiple devices that we now take for granted. Also take the time to imagine how hard it would be to live in a world without a computer it would be harder to store and process information. If it were not for many inventors the world might not have had the modern day computer that people all over the world use. The many advances in software that we need for school work such as the Microsoft Programs and the internet. Also we would not have any of the devices that we use almost every day such as a laptop computer, cell phone or an mp3 player. Sherry Turkel Said “Today’s college students are habituated to a world of online blogging, instant messaging, and web browsing” which shows how much people rely on computers (222). Also Isaac Asimov said “I do not fear computers. I fear lack of them”, meaning that what if a computer were not available to a person who normally uses one, it would show the difficulties for people do any of the many tasks that they used a computer for because it made the task easier to accomplish. That is why I’m studying computers, because I want to find out how computers have advanced our lives. In order to fully help my reader understand why without computers, the world would not have the multiple advancements that it does now and the incessant fortitude that scientist have to improve today’s computers even more.
