The change modify the motion which the author would like to transmit in the original document. The important changes are the modification of some stage of direction. The actors changed some stages of direction and created their own. The second change is skipping of some sequences. The actor of the film choose to ignore some sequences which were in the original version. Moreover, the actors added some stages which were not in the preview version. The other point is the incapacity of transmitting all the motion which we can perceive in the reading. Finally, the actors did not show enthusiasm in their performance as we can feel it in
The Great Depression was a time full of fear and uncertainty in the U.S. The unemployment rate was above 20% and hundreds of banks had failed resulting in a delicate and arduous economic situation. While many industries suffered greatly through this time, one industry seemed to do just fine: film. Film was a relatively new industry without many regulations which had become the most exciting and influential form of media that existed. During the Depression, this importance was identified by both private and government organizations, film technology advanced, and stories were tailored to the needs of a suffering population. As a result, film during The Great Depression was characterized by innovation, censorship, and escapism.
Blacula was played by William Marshall, who took great pride in playing this character. Originally the character name for Blacula was Andy Brown, which was similar to a black face comedy character on a well-known radio show at the time. William expressed serious discontent with this and demanded that the name be changed, so there was no confusion between the two. Marshall also cared about the nobility of the character and suggested that the name be respectable and related to African roots like Mamuwalde (Lawrence,
The drama film Almost Famous is written and released by director Cameron Crowe in the year 2000. The film is set in the age of rock and roll in San Diego (1973). Winning these awards gives a good impression of the high quality of this film.
The film that is being used for the movie analysis is “Enough”, this movie was chosen due to the fact that it is based on domestic violence towards women. The movie begins with in Los Angeles diner were a waitress named slim works with her best friend Ginny (Kazan, 2002). While working her shift slim has a customer that starts harassing her over the name she has, but the companion of the annoying customer defends slim, which in turn starts a romance, later to become a marriage between the two (Kazan, 2002). The couple is later blessed with a daughter they name Gracie, and at the beginning the marriage seems to be a fairy tale out of a story book (Kazan, 2002). The fairy tale becomes a nightmare as time moves forwards for the couple,
The film, Freaks (1932), is a wonderful movie, not only showing the culture in ancient America, but also a great look into the ideologies and assumptions in the 20th century American society. Ideally, the movie is packed with romance, deceit, and moving tales of disabled people, how they face their day-to-day challenges, and their interactions with people without disabilities. The main characters in the film, Cleopatra and Hans show a great deal of a romantic relationship. However, it becomes clear that the motive behind Cleopatra’s interest in Hans is the inheritance she is destined to get from his family. The movie comes with plenty of interpersonal relationships and interactions, though some people treat the curiosities as anomalies. Nonetheless,
The film Train Wreck, starring Amy Schemer, fits perfectly into popular culture because it is a romantic comedy with a crude sense of humor that so many people can relate to. Romantic comedies are a big part of popular culture, movies like Bridgette Jones’ Diary and Valentine’s Day. I think for the most part, people like watching romantic movies that have happy endings, but they like them even more when there is comedy involved, I know that I do. When you have someone famous for being a comedian starring in the film, they throw in some crude humor. Crude humor similar to movies like Super Bad or Pineapple Express, I think this type of humor makes the movie less cheesy and even more hilarious. This film also fits perfectly in popular culture because of the music and references used throughout.
Throughout the years, many movies have had various music artist compose songs especially for their movie. Artist like Kenny Loggins and Michael Jackson have benefited greatly from making a soundtrack for a feature film. Some of the most successful soundtracks have come from blockbuster films such as “The Body Guard”, “The Lion King”, “Frozen” and many other films. Songs from these films have not only topped charts, but have comforted people during times of needs and have helped people discover who they are. “I see fire” revolves around what death means and how that can affect the people that have come near it and lost, as well as people that have lost somebody to it. By creating very detailed and using specific words to make the reader transport
Do you like making your own decisions? Or would you like to be healed instantaneously when you get hurt? Throughout history, technology has advanced so much ad allowed people to learn a lot more then what they could before we had all this technology. Some of those advancements have allowed to cure diseases, promote healthier lifestyles, and even opened up more jobs. There have also been some advancements that have led to death and disaster. So the movie transcendence, is trying to show that with the use of technology anything is possible. It also shows that to much technology can make bad things happen all over the world.
To choose an all-time favorite movie is one of great difficulty for me. I love several movies and would consider many of them my favorites. One movie that, for many reasons, speaks volumes to me would be The Wizard of Oz directed by Victor Fleming. The actors and actresses starring in the film, including Judy Garland and Frank Morgan have a way of bringing the characters of Dorothy Gale and the Wizard of Oz to life. I also applaud how, in the midst of the Great Depression, the movie industry was able to release a film that inspired hope and brought an element of fun to a struggling nation. The final element of this movie that I admire is the ways you are able to connect with the characters on a personal level and in many ways feel the same love and/or resentment toward another character.
