Thalia asked as the two made their way over to the Curtis' house for breakfast. "Whenever your ready, hon," Dal said, trying to be very careful with Thalia. He didn't want to treat her as if she were a porcelain doll, but he didn't want to crack her either. "If I don't tell them soon, it will," Thalia trailed off, not wanting to finish her sentence. Dally seemed to understand. "I'll be there with you the whole time, babe," Dally said. "What? Am I not hon anymore?" Thalia asked. "You are still hon, hon," Dally said. "Good," she said. They walked into the Curtis' and Thalia had everyone sit down. …show more content…
"Tell em', hon, it's ok," Dally said trying to be as supportive as possible. "I'm dying," Thalia said looking down at her feet. The room was silenced. Thalia noticed how nobody seemed to ask her how or why she was dying. "The doctors said I have some rare disease, and as of now, I have a little more than a month to live," she informed them. "Well, then I guess we have to make this the best month ever," Sodapop said. "I guess you're right, Soda," Thalia said.
She got a new disease called stenotrophomonas, which is very difficult to treat. She was becoming pan-resistant, meaning she was resistant to everything. She had a bacteria called Gram negative. This bacteria has an armor formed around the negative bacteria that makes it harder for normal antibiotics to cure it. She was left with only one option, a lung transplant. For one, it was a very risky option since her body was so weak, and two, she would have to wait until a transplant even came up for her to have. She ended up getting the lung transplant though. Two years after she came home from the operation and she is still alive, but she has to be very cautious every day. She takes a handful of prescriptions twice a day and still picks up bacteria easily. Her mom said she has gotten pneumonia twice already. Her life is now extremely difficult, but she is at least
Never shall I forget the nocturnal silence that deprived me for all eternity of the desire to live.
With knowing that death was taking place and that I had only a few short more days with her, nothing I said seemed to be enough. No words I thought I said could make a difference. While this was happening I was hurt, angry, and confused. I was hurt because, I didn’t want my tenant to leave me, and I never got

Marie Antoinette’s last words were thought to be polite as she braved her fate in a simple white dress, already having wished her children the best (“The Grand Dauphin”), “Pardon me Sir, I meant not to do it", to the executioner, whose foot she accidentally stepped on before she was executed. Her body was thrown into an unmarked cemetery, rue d'Anjou until exhumed in 1815 and properly reburied (Buzzi).
Her last words were, "Blessed Mary, Mother of God, pray for me. A poor sinner, a poor sinner."She had been suffering her sickness since she was a toddler. Faith was her strength. It was what made her keep on fighting back. In her last moment, she prayed.
“You know how his mom will treat him once he is out of the hospital. Who knows what she will do to him? Even if he’s sick I know she won’t be scared to hurt him again,” I told Darry. I think he took that into consideration but didn’t really say anything more about it for a while.

Oh, Tommen. Sweet, naïve young Tommen. You really know nothing of this world. It was troubling to Cersei that he would soon be king, when he displayed so few of the qualities she deemed important to the position. Whatever could be said about Joffrey, he did not suffer fools lightly, and this Margaery Tyrell was a fool if she thought she could dance with the Lannisters. She knew, of course, that it was not solely Margaery; Olenna Tyrell was a conniving bitch, and the sooner the old hag kicked the bucket the better.

About half a second after the door closed, Abbey asked how it went, so I told her the basics. She asked me what you were going to do, and I told her we were going to fight to keep our team together. She asked if it didn't work, would you still coach her and the other younger girls, and I told her probably not. Then she started to silently cry. It was heartbreaking.
