Recommended: Cell phone use and driving

We've all heard about how texting and driving are dangerous and can lead to
accidents and death. There are even several commercials warning you about the dangers
of being distracted by your cellphone while driving. Texting and being preoccupied with
cell phone usage while driving has accounted for over 3,000 deaths and an additional
391,000 injuries.
We hear stories about people walking into open sewers, falling off of sidewalks,
even walking into walls because they are on their phones texting. So just think about how
much more dangerous it is to text while behind the wheel of a motorized vehicle.
According to a statistic one out of every four car accidents that happen in the United
States is caused by texting and driving.
