I spent ten hours learning about the beautiful diversity in this country. For the first five hours, I spent time at an authentic taco stand in my hometown. For the second five hours, I volunteered at an assisted living home for senior citizens. I learned so much more about the beautiful diversity in our country in those ten hours than I learn in a few months of living my day to day life. That is such a simple statement, but it is honestly the most important sentence you will read throughout this paper.

That did not take long to fix, though. As soon as people to begin at there, word spread like wildfire. Tequila’s popularity grew faster than one could imagine and before you knew it, Spanish classes were taking field trips there, people were meeting up there to eat before football games, and friendships within the community grew… all because of a taco stand. Honestly, Tequila’s is much more than that. The Beltrans pour their hearts and souls into this restaurant. Because of their love for their culture and Newnan, they found a way to merge them both. The family was always there together. They were happy, loud, and always had a smile on their face. Having a happy, mixed, loud, and fun atmosphere is what made Tequila’s so special.
