Persuasive Essay Rough Draft Our school, Temecula Prep, as you know is a very small school. We have small classes and little opportunities to do or try anything. We are limited in many ways we should not be limited in. We have a dress code and I can assure that we are one of the only Public Charter schools that have a dress code. We also do not have a lot of money to spend on extra curricular activities. Below I will show you an example of how this school can affect you.
One of my good friends, she graduated from Temecula Preparatory School recently. She has been at this school since kindergarten and she hates the mere idea of a large school. That being said, when she went off to college, she had a very difficult time adjusting to the college lifestyle. Being a small school also means a smaller income. Smaller income means that the quality of school hosted dances and other extra curricular activities or after school activities are very poor quality. Not having money to properly fund these activities can have a serious impact on perhaps getting a sports scholarship. Our school also has something almost no other Public Charter school has, a dress code. Having a dress code means that the parents not only have to buy casual clothes, but they also have to buy school clothes. Parents also have to buy casual shoes and school shoes. Having a dress code just puts a burden on everyone. Just another good reason why you shouldn’t go to Temecula Prep. Temecula Prep, as I said before, is a very small school. Since their is not a lot of people in the school, people can easily be outcasted and they can be left with no friends. This typically does not happen at a regular public school. This can also create social anxiety and other problems with communicating with
