Well, that's the situation for Samantha, who wakes up on the morning of her birthday to find that her whole entire family forgot. "I can't believe this, they fucking forgot my birthday" Good morning P & C the film I am reviewing today is called sixteen candles a film directed by John Hughes. This film is about one of the worst things that could ever happen to a girl on her sweet sixteenth. Starring Molly Ringwald as Samantha a bright-eyed teenager. In which her whole entire family completely forgot her birthday in the chaos of her airheads sister's wedding. This film engages young people because it captures issues and problems of teenagers in which makes the film relatable.
