Society has imposed the thought that technology kills creativity for decades. It’s as if the more they grow in ability to produce, the more they think it leads to laziness and lack of skills. When factors of laziness is pushed together with technology, a contradiction is introduced. Laziness is in fact the enemy of the creation of technology, so how could it be the ally to the use of technology? The amount of work it takes to invent and create something that the entire world processes and use on a daily basis will take equal amount of work for the consumer’s to understand and accumulate the new information and use it to their advantage. Because of this, technology has made society more creative by giving them a new net out possibilities in expressing themselves.
Most people view creativity in a simplistic view of artistic abilities. As the definition stated by google, creativity is the use of imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of artistic work. Creativity is a thought as gift or something people have to work at; a skill, but in today’s generations of society, creativity is in everything we do. It’s no longer a skill acquired, but a natural process we use on a daily

Everyone seems to fail to see the originality and creativity that is put into a video game though, as well as the movies that play mindlessly on the TV. With every second people spend watching television mindlessly and play video games, a hard minute of inspiration was used to make watch television easy and mindless, as well as video games. The creation behind the two is parallel to the creation of a novel, only most of the hard work goes to making their ideas easier for the public to comprehend. People judge a form of art by how easy it is for them to understand and not by how much thought was put in it. Creativity cannot be measured, much less

Gardner describes the creative individual as follows: “The creative individual is a person who regularly solves problems, fashions products, or defines new questions in a domain in a way that is initially considered novel but that ultimately becomes accepted in a particular cultural setting” (Gardner, 1993, p. 35). As I understand this, a creative individual is one who seeks out problems and states or solves them in a way that no one else has previously. Such inno...

According to Google, creativity is defined as “the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work.” In his TED Talk, which is one of “the most popular talks of all time”, Sir Ken Robinson discusses how public education systems degrade creativity as an essential component within the academic growth of all students. Robinson is a creativity expert and an author who writes books about creativity in school systems. His expertise in the field of school systems and creativity justifies his opinion on the subject. Robinson concentrates on the significance of creativity by creating a variety of strong arguments. His main contention is that “creativity now is as important in education as literacy” (Robinson).
What exactly is creativity? To be creative is to understand and connect the small details of our experiences, both good and bad (creative something). Creativity involves a person using his or her original ideas to create something. Artists such as poets, writers, painters, designers, and more use creativity on a regular basis. They use creativity to come up with new ideas and create original works of art. A poet would use his or her creative abilities to write and produce a poem just like a painter would use creativity to paint a painting.
In conclusion to some up this essay the term ‘creativity’ will always cause a debate in the educational system as. There will always be difficulty defining it as many use the term too loosely to have a definitive meaning. It requires risk taking, it is difficult to portray creativity when schools are so obsessed with right or wrong answers for ways of doing things. Society teaches us the risks are bad because the government and its policies interfere with our own choices and decisions.
Creativity is the essence of technology we have today, without technology we would be without the most basic of equipment in our modern day lives. Could you imagine a life without cars, computers, and even houses? What would the world be like if it were deprived of these necessities? We have progressed to such a degree, that it seems almost unlikely that the human race will produce one more extraordinaire. However, without the thoughtful minds of thousands of inventors, our world would rapidly turn into one of bland repetition. In my opinion creativity is essential, without it, life would be routine and almost pointless after a point in time.
In defining Creativity, Franken (1993) refers to the use of imagination or original ideas to create something; it is the tendency to generate ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others. Creativity and
What is Creativity? Creativity is an Attitude. We all can possibly be creative, yet the vast majority of us were not urged to create our creativity. We can do so by getting to be ready to investigate new connections and experiences. Creativity is a method for living that grasps creativity and makes exceptional associations between apparently unique thoughts. Creativity is about living as an adventure into seeing and conveying the additional commonness of the easiest, practically consistently acts. The main article that I chose is "Nobody Knows What The Hell They Are Doing" by Oliver Burkeman in light of the fact that it is a decent article
Creativity, it’s a broad topic of just new things and ideas among people. The definition of creativity is the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. PBS describes creativity as, “The new ideas and new connections between ideas, and ways to solve problems in any field or realm of our lives. The concept of creativity is often hard to grasp because creativity isn 't a tangible thing its just and idea. Also, because it’s hard to differ between a truly original idea and an idea that is just shaped from others. With all this being said, it can be hard to figure out where creativity comes from.
Technology has make our life more productive in many different ways. One of the greatest invention is Apple’s products. It leads an evolution of tablet devices. IPad or IPhone can act as a textbook, laptop, navigation, camera, notebook, gaming devices and more. It combines all the other devices into one which allows to manage our time effectively. “This is not a simple proposition, since our devices have become more closely coupled to our sense of our bodies and increasingly feel like extension of our minds” said Sherry Turkle. They are becoming part of ourselves. Perhaps some people are saying technology causes laziness because we are relying more on a devices instead of doing stuff by our self, but technology are intended to make our lives easier. We are still doing the same thing but in a more effectively way. Human race are moving on, we cannot stay in an era where people are still using paper map to find out the way, sending letter through the post office. If there is a natural selection in Human Evolution, there is also can be a natural selection in human’s behaviors, inefficient behaviors are being eliminating.
Since we are born we have imagination and as we grow up this imagination may increase or decrease. Creativity strongly relies in our imagination. Depending on different circumstances people learn to express their creativity openly while other people close themselves and believe they do not have creativity. Creativity is a natural talent that every single human has. Creativity can be used to solve a complex problem in a different manner or just to find innovative ways to have fun. Creativity is thinking out of the box. Even though creativity cannot be taught from scratch there should be a class that is specific for creativity.
Creativity is a way of bringing new idea into existence or to come out with a product through an imaginative skills or ability. With this, there must be a preexisting idea that will serve as a platform to act. All innovation begins with creative ideas. Creativity is the foundation of innovation.
Society has been impacted both negatively and positively by technology. As a result, every aspect of our lives has been influenced by technology. Hence, life is easier, yet it has taken away some of the enjoyment. For example, remember the days of less stress and more personal interaction, when there were no online messages, no emails, social media or cell phones. We have become excessively dependent on technology. As a result, we need to rely less on technology even though it has made learning fun, and business, daily tasks, work, travel, shopping, making new friends and staying in touch easier. In conclusion, technology has a lot of benefits, yet it could take over our lives and become our worst enemy if we aren't careful.
