Today, we are surrounded by all forms of modern technology. From the T.V. up to the phone, from our very own computers to the appliances we usually used. All these technologies contributed a lot in our daily necessities. These helps work even faster, and who don’t want things to be done fast and easy, right? Technologies nowadays also helps develop human capabilities and explore boundless opportunities.
But the question is how long these technologies can help us? Although they sounded like they are helping us, but who knows for what danger it can bring to all of us

We need to take into consideration the positives and the negatives of the technology we create today.

Everyone knows about the new technologies that are being created and innovated upon that help people survive fatal wounds, allow people to use little to no energy by having technology do all its owners everyday menial tasks, or even watch over people that may need help living on their own due to their condition, but that often overwhelms the news of the creation of new technologies made to harm all that oppose it or its controller. Many science fiction articles, short stories, movies, and novels represent the threats that technology could impose, and may soon become a reality. The short story “There Will Come Soft Rains,” and the article “Taking the Warning of Science Fiction Seriously” say that the downfall of humanity is held within its ingenuity, its creativity, and its innovability, and are perfect examples of why we should manufacture new devices with foresight, caution, and care.
In today's world, technology is constantly changing from a new paperclip to an improvement in hospital machinery. Technology lets people improve the way they live so that they can preserve their own personal energy and focus on the really important factors in life. Some people focus their energy on making new innovations to improve transportation and the health of people that may save lives and some people focus on making new designs of packaging CDS. Technology is significant in everyone's life because it rapidly changes what is in the market. But, some new innovations of technology are ridiculous because they serve no purpose in helping mankind.
Today’s American society consists of many technological achievements. The cars we drive, the classes we take, and even the things we do in our spare time has changed due to the increasing amount of technology that is available to us. The opinions of many people vary on technology and the effects it has on today’s society. Some say that it’s more beneficial than anything, others completely disagree, and some have mixed emotions. Would you rather read out of a book, or play online learning games with a possible risk of eye problems? It’s about taking matters into your own hands. 71% of people believe technology has improved their lives. 76% of people completely disagree by saying that technology creates a lazy society and that is distracting and corrupting. Daily life with technology is also another huge issue in society. According to a survey taken in January 2013, people feel their work productivity has dropped 8% in the last year. They also felt that their relationships with their family at home dropped 4% in the past year. The opinions vary, but they are needed to show how technology is affecting different people.
The standard 21 year old adults have exchanged 250 thousand emails, spent 5 thousand hours video gaming and 10 thousand hours using their mobile devices (Lei, 2009). When people hear the word technology, they think of microwaves, televisions, cars, NASA, different types and transportation and more. For all that, technology has occurred long ahead these discoveries. Technology is an arguable matter amongst people. .In the old days, people lived an extremely simple life without technology. They used candles to light their houses and lanterns at the dark to travel, they used fire to cook and used newspapers and mail to share news. On the other hand, technology has seized an important place in our society. People are living in a stage of progressive technology. They are using all natural reserves applicable for making their lives better and easier. The society cannot picture life without electricity since it allows them to live through their everyday life. This paper argues that technology positively impacts people’s lives.
In the 21st century, we live in the era of technology-driven world. Humans never stopped the development of technology, because we always have a natural tendency to pursue a higher level of human being. Technology is the best evidence of human intelligence, which has shown that we are different from other animals. We have lived with technology since we were born.
