Education is important to all generations
I will be studying the field of Education after graduating, helping the younger generation with English. I am currently volunteering at Boys and Girls club, by tutoring and helping them with homework. I have been dreaming of being a teacher since I was little; wanting to express my true gift. The joy of being in the field of Education is knowing that you are giving the youth the ability to learn and to give them insight on wanting to know more.
Education is a field of helping those in need in times they may need it, meaning the youth. It is a needed career because we're going to always need teachers and substitutes; not only this but be an Ambassador of Christ as we are teaching the younger generation about Science, Math, English and more. The Main reason I wanted to become a teacher, was to share what I can give as a person with a lot of gifts to share and give to the younger generations; something that they can learn from.
The way I would apply my degree in education to graduation; is by being evolved on how to become a teacher and the abilities it takes to become a teacher. I have been around the field of education, by the staff of Boy's and Girl's club. I

By being a leader, I can give the youth knowledge that will help them in daily life. For example, teaching the children values and characteristics of being a leader and not a just a follower; also equip the kids, to have dreams and goals in life. To help them accomplish those dreams and grow within society and being determined but cautious in what he or she is going to do in the class. My role model is my grandma because she is hard working and in the teaching field, she currently works at a school; helping the kids grow and learn about their society. She has an impact in my life because I look up to her and saw how determined and thoughtful she was to the children as a
It is the job of a leader to be a role model because people look up to you. Leadership is something I may have to work on a little because I am a shy person, but that doesn’t stop me. Last year, some 6th grade student were going to be selected to give a tour of the school to the 5th graders who were coming to Great Hollow the following year. My teacher was unsure that I would be a good choice because I am quiet in class. But I convinced him to let me be a tour guide and he was impressed with my performance. I was excited and talked to the students about the school and I was happy to be a leader and show the 5th graders what to do. I proved to myself I had
Not Only am I a role model to my classmates, but I am also a role model to my younger family members. I show this through following the rules of where I am at during the time and teaching them the rules along the way. I am also a role model to them by not giving up on my goals and teaching them about the importance of family and how you should spend quality time with the people you love. The third and last reason I exemplify the traits of leadership is because I lead by example in the community. I show good manners like please and thank you along with opening doors and helping other people. If I see someone that is struggling to carry something or if they drop an item and need help picking it up I do not hesitate to step in and help the person in need. I have observed that a simple smile and a friendly gesture of hello can go a long way when being nice to someone to make their day better in anyway I know how to. These are the reasons why I personally exemplify the traits of someone who shows
Education is the foundation of human interaction. School is where students take in knowledge that will determine what they do with the rest of their lives. Students are offered great opportunities through education. Many times these opportunities are largely affected by how the material is presented to them. As an educator one is given the opportunity to facilitate the learning of these students and affect their lives in hopes that they use this information to progress forward into the future. My goal as a teacher is to educate the future generations of America. I want to be a teacher because teaching is a unique occupation that will provide me with intrinsic rewards.
As a sophomore, I was required to compile a genre of educational philosophies and create my own philosophy in the process. Today, as a senior I am required to “revise” that statement into one that is sophisticated and intelligent based on new information that I have received in the last two years. One instructor said to me, “Your view on educational elements may have changed,” and another said, “Randy, your philosophy on the way you view yourself as a teacher and the view of your classroom may have evolved into a more manageable, realistic perspective,” and they were both right.
Every teacher has a different method of teaching. The teachers that I have had in my school career have been no exception. In this way, each teacher has set an example for me, as a future teacher, to follow or not to follow as I see fit. With the examples from my teachers and in continuing my education, I am developing my own method of teaching. I plan to use a combination of teaching methods in my own classroom. My method will be an eclectic approach because I will be using components of more than one philosophy. I will be using essentialism, behaviorism, progressivism, and existentialism.
I have a dream and that dream is to one day become a teacher. I have had this since I was a small child and I would play school with all my friends and my sister. I will always remember on the last day of school asking my teacher for any old teachers manuals or worksheets that she was going to discard so that I could pretend to play school all summer. I also remember as a child that I always preferred to go to the stationary department of a store to select to play school with over buying something from the toy department. There are many reasons why I dream of being a teacher. Of course, I think it would be great to not have to work nights, weekends, holidays, snow days, or summers, but now there is a greater reason and that reason is to touch the lives of students like some of my teachers have touched my life. As a teacher you have the ability to not only affect the student's present life, but also their future and the future of our country. It will also allow me to have the best of both worlds: to have a rewarding career as well as be home with my children when they are not in school. As a teacher I plan to incorporate the essentialist and behaviorist philosophies into my future classroom.
...oming a teacher, I aim to graduate with a degree in elementary education from Concord College. Upon graduating, I will either pursue an advanced degree or begin teaching. I plan on having a long and very fulfilling career, and hopefully I will be able to inspire many young children. I also hope to teach many future students who inspire me.
In five years, I would like to have completed my bachelor’s degree and have started working in my field, If I haven’t already. My major is education, elementary and special education. Working with children, but more like being a teacher has always been my passion. The look on their faces and how they react to learning something new is what I loved about children and that’s what made me want to be a teacher. Going to school and learning myself was never a problem with me. I got up early each day for school because I couldn’t wait to go and learn. I prefer to teach third or fourth grade but any elementary or special education class will be just
Through my own experiences, and as enforced by others' opinions in the profession, I have found that teaching is one of the most rewarding careers. Not only are you placed in the position of instructing and guiding children and young adults through the life long learning process, but you are able to give back to the schools and communities which have supported your early education and experiences that opened you up to a bright future. In becoming an educator, I hope to someday share the knowledge and lend the helping, supportive hand that I was once given, allowing students to formulate their own perspectives of the multicultural society and world around them. Teaching is a career I have been interested in pursuing throughout high school, and as my experiences and study in the field expands, I feel that my desire to teach will grow stronger and develop more soundly.
I believe that teaching is the most important job known to humanity. In fact, I do not believe it is a job, but rather, a debt payment to society. Education is important because it not only opens doors to a better life, but it also insures one a happier life. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It makes us capable of interpreting rightly the things perceived. Without education, we as a whole, would be further behind in the world and would not have as much technology as we do now. Education also equips us with all that is needed to make our dreams come true. It is because of education that we have the comfortable living style that we have today. For those who are troubled, education acts as an outlet to success. It is education that builds in every individual a confidence to make decisions, to face life, and to accept successes and failures. It instills a sense of pride about the knowledge one has and prepares him/her for life.
As we reminisce and reflect back either on our childhood or academic career, we tend to have that one teacher who was memorable to us in some way - for their sense of humor, their stellar personality, or perhaps having that charisma and charm no other teacher had to make a difficult subject and it 's concepts fun to learn. While knowledge is power, I firmly believe that it is rather the exchange and distribution of knowledge that is power. When one can educate the masses there is no doubt that together we can accomplish great things. Becoming a teacher would mean the opportunity to be able to witness the shaping and molding of the minds of the future generations and the satisfaction knowing that you have helped your students set themselves onto the right path and provide guidance towards the creation of a better tomorrow. Choosing to become a teacher will allow me not only to educate my students, but also educate myself to be a better teacher throughout my career. I believe it is a function of human nature to want to change the world for the better. In adulthood, I have learned that the improvement of the welfare of the world must begin with
I believe that teaching is one of the most important careers that one can have, granted that there are many more jobs that come to mind that have more importance, but they all started with education. Without education society is left with nothing. Although, teaching isn’t just about giving the students the information, it is about building critical thinking, communication, showing their creative side and having them to embrace the information in order to achieve higher standards. I think that education is truly the foundation.
I look forward, to beginning my career as a teacher. I feel that my love for children and learning combined with the education I am receiving makes me feel confident that I can help children learn the basic skills needed to thrive in our society.
It is a constant truth that technology is growing rapidly and it is opening up many opportunities for students as well as teachers. Through the use of the internet information that would take scholars months to acquire out and interpret can be found in less than a minute though a Google search and not only is the information their, but in many cases the information that you wanted is shown in bolded so it can even be found quicker.
Education is not just what your major is, it is also what you learn along the way. It's about learning about life and who you are. All the while becoming specialized so that you may contribute to yourself and society. It's a journey, and for those of us fortunate enough to embark on that journey I hope that we make the most of it.
