Take A Trip Project
A. Introductory Page
During a three week period, from September 1st to September 21st, I will be adventuring and exploring the culture and lifestyles of three different countries in Asia. I will have $6000 to spend on flights, food, and activities that I have received from Uncle Bart. The three countries I will be visiting are the Philippines, China, and Japan. I have chosen these countries to visit because of their different ways of living and to explore where my ancestors once lived. Some places i am excited to visit are Tokyo and Beijing because they are supposedly ahead of their time; in some places. I am also excited to eat some new foods that i have never tried before such as balut and little insects that you can buy on the streets in some cities.

Henry Dobbins is the guy who loves to eat so he made sure he took some extra food. Ted Lavender was the scaredy cat of the group so he carried tranquilizers with him. Dave Jense is the paranoid one, so he takes soap and a toothbrush to prevent germs and disease as best he can. Kiowa has a bible with him showing us he is the dedicated religious type. Mitchell Sanders, the funny one, has condoms with him. I'll let you decide on that one. Norman Bowker has a diary and Rat Kiley carried comic books, most likely as a way to "get away" from everything at the end of the day. Regardless of the personal items each one takes, they all share 2 items in common; their boots and their helmets. Almost all of them also have pictures with them but Jimmy Cross takes 2 very special ones. He has 2 pictures of the woman he loves, Martha. What these guys are truly carrying is some extreme emotional and physical troubles. Amongst his personal items Jimmy Cross also takes with him navigation tools. Rat Kiley has with him the medicine, surgical tape, painkillers, and other things that end up weighing alot. Ted Lavender is very scared, so he also has with him a large supply of ammunition. They all carry with them as much as they can. Weather it be for protection or entertainment, including fear and amazement of the thin...
My companions acknowledged the fact that on a funds allocation of shoe-string proportions you can travel to the Florida Keys area, Marathon in particular. yet still feel as if you've left the U.S. behind and are in a tropical Eden of a foreign land. We didn't know that the United States had its own huge, living. coral sanctuary reefs. Dining is always 'to die for' also, especially if you're a fish eater.
Anderson University stands out from other universities in many ways, with one of the reasons being Anderson’s travel and cultural opportunities. Traveling is an integral part of the learning process. Living or spending time in another country takes a student outside of their realm, literally and emotionally. They are forced into flexibility. The popular term “culture shock” is named that way for a reason. Students can also stretch their worldly knowledge through campus cultural events. While most colleges offer study-abroad options for their students, Anderson students can study-abroad, sign up for a Tri-S trip, or attend campus events if they desire to learn about cultures. Anderson University offers these possibilities to its students, but
There are many interesting trends occurring in the global travel industry today, and one of the most notable is the growing impact of affluent travelers from “emerging” market countries on travel spending and investment. According to Trekksoft.com, tourists in 2016 will be looking for opportunities to explore lesser-known destinations, especially those that are untouched or unique. It’s going to be a huge year for adventure travel, with many people wanting

This essay is the respond to the Local Council Member who has wrong idea about a common archetype of adventure tourist. This misconception based on ignorance of current tourism industry, could potentially be a dangerous for local economy and development. The local authority must be well informed about present conditions with the tourism market, before they will make a far reaching decisions about the development direction in this industry. Currently, there are many organisations whose monitoring an international tourism business and this knowledge supposed to be good use for our common good.
The trip to Asia was a chance of a lifetime. It could not have been any more perfect. We worked hard and learned a lot. The memories and friends made are unforgettable. I only hope that I helped make someone else's trip just as wonderful.
...tives and misconceptions to be a part of their trips nations and their cultures will continue to be misrepresented. The negative aspects of travel are found in Columbus ‘exploration of the Americas, the conquest of Vietnam in the film The Apocalypse Now: Redux, Caribbean’s migration to London in The Lonely Londoners. But if travelers became more self aware perhaps more trips would be like self-defining like Stella’s in How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Travel is an essential part of our lives and it will only be a positive part if we allow ourselves and our minds to be open to other nations and their cultures.
In observing the symbiotic relationship between ethics and morals two theories, which relate to the concepts of right and wrong, here morality being the core address between what is right and wrong, while ethics an ancient theory, which dates back to ancient Greece derives from the word Ethos, which by translation addresses customs, conduct, or character (Northhouse, 2010, p. 424). Moreover, elaborating further, ethics address the manner in which morality is observed by a group or an individual thus despite the grounded theory of morals the right and wrong standing true the manner in which it is observed changes with ethics. For example in the Christian underpinning polygamy is observed as unethical, but in the Middle East having a different religion it is Ethical
There is nothing quite like traveling, going someplace new and finding out more about the world and yourself. Anyone can become a traveler it just takes a little bit of faith and courage. Traveling across the world or even across the country is a learning experience. When you are a traveler you see how people live and how different cultures work. It is the best educational experience you could give yourself. You see how the world works in a way no one can teach you. Seeing different cultures and people help build the person you want to be. If you are a traveler the world influences you, because when traveling, you see the good and the bad, and you learn from the right and the wrong. I am very lucky that I am able to be a traveler and see this
I am planning a trip to my dream destination, the United Kingdom! I have always dreamed of going to London and exploring all of the beautiful landscapes the country has to offer. On my voyage I will be accompanied by my boyfriend, Damian, and my younger sister, Taylor. Before we can begin our journey we have to do the proper research so our trip will be everything we want it to be.
My most memorable trip was the day I went to the Children 's Memorial Hospital to meet my baby brother. Meeting my brother was an indelible moment because I had never felt such happiness and love for someone. On our way there, I also got to create a bond with both my parents and learn how to be a better happier person. At the time I was sixteen years old and was going through a stage where I felt depressed and that’s why the day I arrived at the hospital to meet my brother I felt this warmth in my heart that made me feel happy again.
