In Wilson "Fences" express the racial acceptance of the 1960's towards the African Americans community. Troy Maxson a garbage man tries to teach his son Corry the importance of having skills building a fence. In his view of America wasn’t giving his people the opportunity to be treated equal. Troy had to live through segregation that separates sports. He joined the black league baseball after he was release from prison. Baseball symbolism meant to have a positive outcome for people of color an oppornity for fair play. Sadly in this case it reminds Troy racism that had him felt lower class.
