Swinger's Not Just on Playgrounds Anymore
Dave's marriage had hit the rocks. His wife had lost interest in sex, and Dave did not know how to deal with it. He did not know whether she was bored with him or simply bored with sex. In his search for an answer Dave and his wife attended a swinger's party. This would eventually end Dave's marriage, but it would also lead him to greener pastures.
"She did not want to share the lifestyle with me, and sharing is an important part of swinging. Swingers swing to enhance the relationship with their mate, not to destroy it," Dave said.
Dave met his second wife more than 15 years ago at a swinger's party.
The couple has now turned their

He was going through a tough divorce, and he decided to try something new. This something new just happened to be swinging, and after 20 years Alan couldn't be happier with his choice.
"I've been married to my second wife for nine years now, and if I hadn't been involved in swinging I would have never met her. The two of us understand that we are not looking for anything better than our marriage, we're simply looking for a way to enhance it," Alan said. Alan, who is an owner of The
Tennessee Social Club, believes that anyone who swings must have a very stable relationship. The people involved in swinging are not interested in finding a constant sexual companion other than their mate.
Alan's swing club is quite different from the others. During the week
The Tennessee Social Club, in Nashville, is a strip club open to anyone. On the weekends however, it becomes a private club for swingers only, but no sex occurs on-premise. Many couples come just to enhance their own sex life, not to have sex with others.

My most impressive aspect about this facility is the way the shop and the golf course is set up to their guest. In the shop they have a area that allows people from the public to come in and watch golf or just lounge around in the lounge area. They even have a few golf related games on the inside for the younger crowd they attract. I also admire how the club looks into making everyone around the community happy by giving free lessons out on special occasions.
According to the articles "Tear Down the Swing Sets" by John Tierney and "Can a Playground Be Too Safe" by Nicholas Day many changes have been done to playground designs for many reasons like creative risks, lawsuits, and child safety. Playgrounds used to be fun, exciting and riskful but now due to playground design they are safe, yet boring.
The resolution in the story becomes apparent once Dave realizes that he can communicate with his daughter if he just lets her be

Catherine Roerva Pelzer, Dave’s mom, is portrayed as Mom, Mother, and the Bitch. Dave tells us about Mom right after his account of “The Rescue.” He tells us of “The Good Times” when Mom and Father were happy, when they were all a normal family. Mom was a devoted nurturer, housewife and teacher. She wore dresses, her face was always made up, and she was always cooking scrumptious meals for the family. Mom would take outings with her sons whenever father wasn’t around, and vacations with the whole family, the most memorable being their trips to the Russian River. Mom was sweet and loving; she acknowledged achievements, showed pride and physical as well as emotional affection around her son.
When Dave meets this girl and she ask for his name he is too embarrassed to say his real name and admit he is a cutter so he uses his, passionate and charming Italian persona to sway her. By using this false persona it verifies that it is a disgrace to be a cutter and Dave knows it. While he still acts Italian no matter where he is, the way he acts as an Italian around Katie changes. He displays a much more romantic and affectionate side toward her. Demonstrating that love makes people do crazy things, even if that means people changing their ways. The false persona Dave acts as in the beginning of the movie would never serenade someone to display his affection for someone. Yet, after meeting Katie he dropped his first false identity and created a new one to woo her. His persuasive and hypnotic charm, makes her start to truly have feelings for Dave due to his, delightful and charismatic false

Whereas the women considered themselves bi-curious. One of the beliefs of the swinger culture is female bisexuality is accepted over male bisexuality. Although swingers are considered to have a more liberal attitude towards sexuality, politically they fall into a moderate to conservative group. Swingers have above averages incomes and educations (Jenks, 1998). According to a 2010 study there are an estimated 2 to 15 million people who engage in the swinger’s lifestyle worldwide. However, it is hard to obtain accurate data being it is such a secretive culture. Many swingers keep this part of their life private from family, friends, and co-workers. Remarkably, couples viewed swinging as a marriage-friendly alternate to cheating, a way to explore sexually and remain, contradictory, faithful. Wives, specifically, do not feel like swinging is cheating when their husbands are present. This has led to an increased uptake of women swinging in an attempt to fulfill their sexual desires they long for in their monogamous relationship. In addition to the excitement of being sought after and admired by

When three friends are pressured by the government and each other, what choices will they make to strengthen or weaken their friendship? When people are pressured into things, does the character change? Is it a good or bad way. In the movie “Swing Kids” Peter, Thomas, and Aarvid made choices that reflect the strengths and weaknesses of their friendship.
