There have been a number of problems arise during my tenancy at 411 ½ Third Street Upper. I have been able to deal satisfactorily with most. I was greeted with a horrible cockroach infestation, plus addressed unsanitary conditions created by poor upkeep.
Over the winter, I was able to sufficiently adapt to stay warm. However, the condition of the windows in this dwelling is deplorable. It is essentially impossible to efficiently cool this residence without incurring an unreasonable electric expense. Correcting this problem is going to require extensive window repairs.
These and other problems, in and of themselves create an unappealing living environment. However, as a result of the recently heavy rains, a second more pressing issue has been exposed.

I used the back room only for storage and was angered when I went in to search for an item, discovering that copious amounts of water had leaked and portions of the ceiling falling down. This revealed a black mold problem, that by all appearances, clearly existed before I moved in. In consulting with health professionals, this situation is likely to be responsible for a number of adverse health problems I have experienced over the last 3 months.
I have ignored countless nuisances while living at 411 ½ Third Street Upper. However, I refuse to subject myself to further health hazards caused by the obvious presence of black mold in this dwelling. I have incurred the unexpected expenses of securing storage for valued possessions and preparing to move to a new residence. I request your professional courtesy to forego the rental fee for July 2017, in lieu of alternative measures to compensate me for these
Many people in our society today are constantly asking, "Why do sweatshops exist?" The answer to this question is that companies like Nike and Wal-Mart use sweatshops to produce their goods for a much cheaper rate, to reduce the cost of their products. The problem with sweatshops is that the workers are subject to hard work in often times poor conditions for minimal pay. But although many people may condemn sweatshops, there are some advantages that many people overlook when arguing against sweatshops and their practices.

The rent of this apartment was 600$. I shocked when I hear this price because it is very cheap for this type of building. When came home I decide to search on the Internet to find some reasons for its low price. After while I found a website that many of previous talents came there and wrote their opinions, which shows this apartment had bed bug and silverfish because it made from wood (The bedbug registry). It happened in 2008 and 2010, but I have though by myself maybe will happen again. I am sure the property owner does not like to see this commands, but this is out of his or her control because someone already
In the Nineteenth Century, the fashion industry began when the designer, Charles Frederick Worth, was first to place his personal label on his garments. Soon after this occurred, many other designers began to follow his lead by sewing their own personal brand on their apparel as well. Years later, the fashion industry boomed and designers could no longer sew labels on all garments alone. So, designers began to hire groups of individuals to do the jobs for them in small buildings called sweatshops. These sweatshops are one of the most serious problems for economic conditions in the fashion production industry.
Some rated the hotel at 1 or 2 stars, meaning ‘poor or terrible’. A few mentioned that although the location was great the rooms themselves, noise, staff and the size of the apartment did not meet expectations. Kelli L (Trip Advisor) said that on a booking site it said parking and Wi-Fi were included, however they found both to have very large extra charges. This may have been listed as included on the booking website this customer was using but on the official website, when booking they are shown as extra costs. Multiple people also said that it was “The noisiest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in” (Phil F, Trip Advisor) or “Noisiest hotel stay ever” (loopylou137, Trip Advisor). Though there were some poor reviews, the positive reviews outweigh the negative ones meaning the experiences of these customers were quite rare and the hotel seems to be quite

You won’t have to worry about mold or mildew growing in a room with this unit. It’s ideal for keeping it in large basements to prevent mold and mildew.
Reduce your home’s heat load. Close windows, shutters, and drapes facing the sun during the day. Turn off lighting and electrical devices as possible.
Nike has plenty of critics, but some believe the company has done nothing wrong with the treatment of their workers. William Stepp, from Libertarian Mises Institute, believes that the benefits the workers are given at the factories improve their lives (Nike sweatshops, 2017). William backs his opinion by the fact the workers agreed to the wage and work hours before deciding to take the job (Nike sweatshops, 2017). The workers are supplied with benefits like free physicals, clinic and health services, uniforms, food, transportation, and entertainment; if the other part of the factory work is not as glamorous, the workers still receive better treatment from the factories than other jobs (Nike sweatshops, 2017). In addition, studies were conducted by the Global Alliance for Workers and Communities, and they discovered that 70% of Nike workers in Thailand would rate their supervisors as good, and that 72% thought they were paid fair wages (Nike sweatshops, 2017). If the workers believe they are being treated fairly, and that the factory job is more stable than farm work, is there really a problem. Many factory workers will migrate towards factories because the work is steady than farmland, and they can send money back to their families. The factories supply jobs to people who normally would not be able to find jobs that pay a decent and consistent wage (Nike sweatshops,
My friend and I tidied the floors while playing antakshari (singing game). Popping all the windows open, I allowed cool ventilation inside the small building.
The heating, ventilation and air conditioning system could spread mold spores throughout your building and increase health risks. Clean the system thoroughly and maintain it as you protect your employees, customers and vendors.
...h there were a number of rooms separated and specified for certain activities, it is not enough. Each of them has a potential of risk, and again that is as a result of their ignorance. Nonetheless, if they work more concentrating on personal and place hygiene. Inspection and observation for everything including documents and records. The more improvement they will get.
After telling people I am from Alaska, often times they are slightly surprised to see me freezing indoors. Well, this may come as a shock for those of you who do not know, but in Alaska we do not have air conditioning. That being said, my first and foremost goal of the year is: to get accustomed to constantly having environmentally hazardous refrigerant blown around in every room I go into. Alongwith that, I have plenty of things to get accustomed to: the outside air feeling like it has been in an armpit, living in a reception-killing house, and low-key feeling like a prisoner on school campus. And it is my goal this year, to adapt to these new conditions and be able to enjoy life comfortably here in Zama.
The environment both directly and indirectly impacts on human health. Through the interplay of the external and internal environments that the individual, community and nation are surrounded by and interact with, health issues occur when there is misplacement in the equilibrium between human and environment. Physical environmental factors, such as increasing temperatures from climate change, could directly result in increased morality rates in temperate climates. The World Health organisations, director general, stated that “clim...
Are you aware of the detrimental impacts that we have had on our environment? Every second, the Earth is being polluted by poisonous gases, waste products and due to human activities, the world’s climate is dramatically changing. In other words, these impacts do not only harm our environment but also our health. It has been scientifically proven that air pollution causes respiratory diseases and cancer, due to the inhalation of all the harmful chemicals. Water pollution can also lead to typhoid, diarrheal diseases and other waterborne disease, due to the intake of bacteria and parasites. Many people have died due to these health-related illnesses. So why are we still living in this awful condition? Air sustains us and water is a basic necessity, so we should do what we can to prevent pollution. In short, we should protect our environment to ensure a healthy life a...
