Morality and survival play hand in hand, and most of the time they get in each other’s way. The situations that call for you to choose between the two also come with certain circumstances like family, taking someone else’s life, or protecting those around you. Whether it be in the dystopian worlds of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Divergent by Veronica Roth or real life situations. Your morals will either get in the way or go with your choice of surviving. When it comes to survival a choice has to be made, this decision is usually involved with one’s morals.
