This game was full of narratives- could the Cowboys defend their Super Bowl title? Would they avenge their loss to the Steelers in Super Bowl X? Super Bowl XLIX- The New England Patriots over the Seattle Seahawks 28-24
Super Bowl XLIX featured a copiousness amount of enjoyment- a fourth quarter comeback, an epic goal-line stand resulting in arguably the most memorable play in Super Bowl history, a circus catch, and a solidification of Tom Brady as the greatest quarterback of all-time.
Trailing by 10 against the number one ranked defense to start the fourth quarter, the Patriots chances of winning looked dull, until Brady took over the game- completing 13 fourth quarter passes, including completing all eight of his passes on the game winning drive.
After securing the lead, the Patriots defense was trusted with holding onto the win. After a circus catch by Jermaine Kerse, it seemed like only a matter of time until the Seahawks scored. On first and goal from the six-yard line, Marshawn Lynch received the hand off and had a clear path to the end zone, but was caught from behind by Rob Nikonvich. With time running down, Bill Belichick stunned the world by not calling a timeout- showing faith in his defense. But, in an even more stunning fashion Pete Carroll called a pass play from second and goal on the one, rather than run the ball, which resulted in a Malcolm Butler

Troy Polamalu and James Harrison are the two best players to ever play in the NFL because their team they changed NFL defenses, and are some of the strongest NFL players and are some of the best at their positions. The way they play the game of football is awesome they just stand out in the games. They also are really strong James Harrison is the overall strongest OLB/DE to play the game. Troy Polamalu is one of the most, if not the most versatile Strong Safety/Free Safety to play the game. There were two coaches who coached them Bill Cowher, Mike Tomlin. The Steelers got their name from Cleveland republic steel 1962. The stadium is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Next, more uproar erupted in the 1998 playoffs when an official missed wide receiver Jerry Rice's fumble, which would have ended what turned into the 49ers' game-winning drive against the Packers. Rick Reilly declares:
In the Conference Championship against the Pittsburgh Steelers during the game, Brady went down with an injury, but luckily Bledsoe finished the game out and won. The Patriots were heading into the Super Bowl as huge underdogs expecting to get crushed by the St. Louis Rams in the “Greatest Show on Turf.” Brady got the starting job for the Super Bowl and led the Pats to a seventeen to three lead at the half. The Rams came back in the 2nd half and tied it at seventeen to seventeen with less than two minutes remaining most people thought that the Pats should run the clock out and go to overtime, but instead “Tom Terrific,” and the Patriots drove down the field in spectacular fashion to get into field goal range. Bam! Tom Brady the 199th pick who became the seventh string quarterback was now the youngest QB to win a Super
Montana’s career statistics lag behind some of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, but Montana won more championships than QBs such as Bret Favre, John Elway and Peyton Manning. Out of four Super Bowl appearances, Manning only won two. While Manning was under center for Super Bowl 50, he had little impact on the game’s outcome. On the other hand, Montana had a big impact on the outcome in each of his four Super Bowl
The Dallas Cowboys, America’s football team, one of the most well known professional football franchises in the sport’s history. The Cowboys own five super bowl titles, which were won in ’71, ’77, ’92, ’93 and ’95. They are also home to 19 renowned individuals who have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame including standout football stars Tony Dorsett, Emmit Smith, and Troy Aikman. Established in 1960, the Cowboys have been a dominating force on the field and still continue to produce to this day. This was due to the owner Jerry Jones why has said that no player will sit or take a knee on his team or he would cut them, but more on that later. NFL teams are practicing lightly so far this year, training camp is multiple weeks away, and the first preseason game isn't going to be played for months. The new defense has not been completely installed yet and neither has the new offense. We do not know whether the special teams unit will be as effective as it has been the past several seasons because Chip Kelly's practice schedule is no longer in place to provide extra reps and the overall depth chart isn't even being considered at this point because players are currently sporting shorts and t-shirts on the field.
The NFL’s most prestigious trophy, the one given to the winner of the Super Bowl, is named the Vince Lombardi Trophy. When Vince was a player at Fordham, he had one eventful Saturday. After playing a rough and tumble football game against Pitt that day, Vince returned home for a birthday party for his father. He was up until the wee hours of the morning with his family, spending the precious time he had with the ones he loved. That was Vince Lombardi in a nutshell.
