As a first-year Master of Business Administration student at Brock University with three years of work experience, I’d love to bring my expertise and enthusiasm to the Tim Hortons. It is indeed with great interest that I am applying for the position of 2017 Summer Internship - MBA at the Tim Hortons. I noticed the position on LinkedIn and was intrigued by the fit with my own experience and professional goals.
Prior to pursuing an MBA degree, I worked as an Assistant Operations Manager, during which I was primarily managing the workforce and overseeing the products’ quality. For example, in many instances I could notice perplexing and significant variances in the output quality without any conspicuous change in the processes, and after investigating the issue for a while, I speculated that there could be a correlation between the variations in some of the products’ attributes and the products’ quality, and after investigating the relationship between the products’ specifications and the perceived quality.
