As a first-year Master of Business Administration student at Brock University with three years of work experience, I’d love to bring my expertise and enthusiasm to the Tim Hortons. It is indeed with great interest that I am applying for the position of 2017 Summer Internship - MBA at the Tim Hortons. I noticed the position on LinkedIn and was intrigued by the fit with my own experience and professional goals.
Prior to pursuing an MBA degree, I worked as an Assistant Operations Manager, during which I was primarily managing the workforce and overseeing the products’ quality. Prior to pursuing an MBA degree, I worked as an Assistant Operations Manager, during which I was primarily managing the workforce and overseeing the products’ quality. During which I gained the opportunity to enhance my research and analytical skills. For example, in many instances I could notice perplexing and significant variances in the output quality without any conspicuous change in the processes, and after investigating the issue for a while, I speculated that there could be a correlation between the variations in some of the products’ attributes and the products’ quality, and after investigating the relationship between the products’ specifications and the perceived quality. I deduced a correlation between particular ingredients, the outputs’ thickness, and the overall quality.

Apart from the experience I have gained at LT Security Inc., my various internship positions have also exposed me to eye-opening responsibilities. For example, as a marketing intern at MySelf New York, I engaged in organized discussions with customers as well as colleagues in the pursuit of better promotional and marketing strategies. I have also gained experience with other matters such as employee coaching and assistance, employee relations, communication and implementation of policies and procedures during my time at Stony Brook University as intern in arts management and at Yunnan Changji Real Estate Co. Ltd where I served as an administrative
Internships completed by students in certain degree programs are quite popular in most colleges and universities. An internship is used so classroom based learning in a degree program can be applied to practical situations in the real world (Jordan, Burns, Bedard & Barringer, 2007). When students are placed with an agency, there is a real possibility that a portion of students will witness actions they believe is unethical or illegal. During a study conducted within four universities, many students that participated in an internship program within the criminal justice system reported that they had observed behavior they suspected to be illegal behavior for a law enforcement agency. (Jordan et al. 2007). Due to this ongoing problem, colleges
This past semester I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to intern at the Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services, a company that is commonly referred to as “MiHIN”. At MiHIN, I was in the Finance and Accounting department where I worked along side three other full-time employees. The four months I spent at MiHIN were extremely beneficial because I was able to develop skills that are applicable to my future career aspirations, as well as, gain a better understanding of careers in finance and accounting.
For this assignment, I have decided to focus on what makes a good quality

...use internships are becoming more and more popular with the overall student body. Business internships are key to creating the better businessman or woman.
The demanding nature of the work has given me an added sense of responsibility but also of pride, fulfilment, and greater appreciation for hard work, ultimately making me more mature and dependable.
My internship at 6abc has been a dream come true. For me brushing elbows with a famous journalist like Jim Gardner means more than meeting a famous movie star. The atmosphere in the building is something indescribable and it changes every day, every hour to be precise. When news changes, the atmosphere changes. I have honestly dreamed of working at 6abc since I first realized I wanted to be a broadcaster. Their sense of family on television really grabbed me and I always knew that this was the place I wanted to work. Well I got here, but for only three short months, and it breaks my heart to know that I have to leave. There have been some ups and downs during my experience in the Creative Services department, but I gained a better understanding
Excellent research opportunities, encouraging academic environment and infrastructure that Canadian universities offer attract me to pursue a research internship here. It would be wonderful to interact with the distinguished faculty in Canada and discuss the possible work as a researcher in the same field. Having done an internship at Indian Institute of Science, one of the best institutions in India, I am hopeful of making a positive contribution in the research. With the motivation, preparation, intellect and hard work I will engage in the on-going research and make significant contribution to it. I will put my background knowledge to good use in the research.
For example, I had the chance to learn that to become a manager, pursuing a master’s in business administration was sometimes essential to acquire the skills and knowledge to step up your
We commonly view quality as a physical property of our product and therefore see our task as producing a product that meets these physical characteristics.
This summer internship position allowed me to apply my education and gain beneficial field experience by closely working with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Crime Scene division. As an intern, I was assigned to shadow Christine Cain in order to learn about her daily duties as a crime scene technician and the standards she is expected to uphold. My core responsibilities included arriving promptly to assigned shifts, assisting CSI Cain process crime scenes, and returning to the office to gain a better understanding of how to properly package different types of evidence. While processing scenes I carried equipment, helped with the collection of evidence, and often recorded notes about the scenes attended. I feel that I learned quickly
The quarter has finally come to an end, and with that, I close out my internship and this class that went along with it. It was a great experience and I leave equipped with a new set of skills that are preparing me for the world ahead. As I write this reflection paper, I think back to the very first week when I set up two goals for myself to focus on and hope to achieve throughout the following weeks. My first goal was to develop a better understanding of myself within the work place, and my second was to develop a strong network to jumpstart my career. Both of my goals were achieved, however, I don’t feel that either of my goals will ever be complete. I believe that you can always formulate a better understanding of yourself, and you can always network to develop a stronger tree of connections. I know for a fact, however, that I reached satisfaction with both of my goals at this internship at MKI and know whole-heartedly that I did everything in my power to exhaust my resources in

Which was one of the biggest obstacles of my life. I found that I worked very well with others, and it made me more confident about myself. It made me feel great. I had great ideas, and I even encouraged other people to come out of their shell. I learned that life's short, and you just need to accept yourself for who you are, and live life to the fullest, as best as you can. This to me was a huge significance, because it changed my ways on how i approach certain things now. I'm not afraid of
