There are several thoughts that go through a serial killer's mind as they pick their next victim. When they choose their victim they would think about what they are going to do to their victim. As they hold their victim the victim’s life slowly starts to come to an end. Most people think that serial killers kill because of their mental disorder. Some others feel like they kill because when they were younger they were abused as a children or they had a change in their sexuality at some point in their life.

In some cases that is true like in the case of Ed Gein who after his mom died he became a robber of graves and he keep body parts to experiment with human taxidermy(“Ed Gein”, 2016). In his case when his mother died it switched something in his brain to make him want to kill women so he could basically make a suit out of there skin. Another case would be the Jeffrey Dahmer case after he had surgery to correct a double hernia he changed and became more withdrawn from the family(“Jeffrey Dahmer”, 2016).
