Marijuana is a drug which is accepted by most people as “safe”. Though marijuana is not exactly safe, it is a lot less harmful than other drugs such as cocaine and meth. Pretty much all of marijuana’s adverse effects are reversible and even then it makes the user just as high as he needs to be.
Due to its comparatively less adverse effects, people have decided to incorporate marijuana in the practice of medicine. They were then compelled to research into all the aspects of the drug and were surprised to find the myriad of benefits marijuana brought in small quantities.

Relief from All Kinds of Pain

This is true to some extent as the cannabinoids in marijuana are actually researched to be potent for curing anxiety and depression. This includes the most potent compound of all: THC. But for a therapeutic effect, THC and these other compounds must be taken in in low quantities because high amounts of THC in the body, like those that make you high, are said to exacerbate anxiety.

There are few things in the world quite as awful as hangovers. Getting high on marijuana when you have a hangover is not exactly a good idea, but there is evidence that supports this theory.
You see, marijuana makes you hungry while hangovers kill your appetite. So when you take a small hit of marijuana without getting high, you will get hungry, eat something, and stop feeling like your head is hammering.
