Recommended: Essay on school shooting theories

The article I chose for this week's current events assignment comes from FactCheck.org. The title of the article is "School Shooting Spawns Conspiracy Theories" by Saranac Hale Spencer. In the article "School Shooting Spawns Conspiracy Theories" I have heard the claims about the "crisis actors" being fact-checked it upset me but in my generation of Facebook and other social media platforms I wasn't surprised by the conspiracy theories that David Hogg was an crisis actor who was apart of a "deep state" conspiracy involving CNN and the FBI(Spencer, S; Feb 25, 2018). I feel that it's a slap in the face to the parents who lost their children in the mass shooting. Their children are really gone and their pain is not fake. People are too worried

    By appealing to several different views, Wheeler is able to grab every reader’s attention. Using schools as his focus point grabs the reader’s attention on a personal level. A school is a place where your children, your friends, your spouses all could be, and we still aren’t motivated to change our gun control laws.
