“Scat” by Carl Hiaasen is about a boy named Nike and his friend, Marta who try to find their missing teacher. She was found but now they stop an oil scam, who illegaly drills in an wildlife preserve. Carl Hiaasen has an message through her book “Scat’. The message is that you can’t judge a person from their looks or even personality.
