Summary Of M. Marley's Short Story: Pet Monkey Home

This guy named Matt that is 25 years old, was wandering around and he decided to go to the pet adoption center. He was looking for a pet. He ends up getting a pet monkey, the monkey has a brown body, a purple tail, and it has blue feet. He buys the monkey, it already has it’s shots and everything it needs. He takes the monkey home and gives it its own room, he names him Marley because his name and Marley starts with the letter M. Marley is a monkey that can talk. Matt leaves on Sunday and he will get back on Tuesday.
Matt has had Marley for five years now. Marley is five years old now. Matt told Marley all the rules that he needs to know, he wrote them down and put them on the fridge. Matt has to go on a family trip. He will be gone for a week and two days. He leaves on Sunday and he will get back on Tuesday. Today is Saturday and Matt leaves tomorrow.
Sunday rolls around and Marley wakes up and Matt is already gone …show more content…

He sits down at the table and eats breakfast. Matt like the breakfast that Marley had cooked. Matt hears a sound whining at the door. Guess who is whining at the door? Lily is whining at the door needing to go to the bathroom. Marley tells Matt the story about the park and how the puppy was following him on his way home. Matt asked if he looked for a collar and went around the park seeing if someone lost a dog. Marley said that there was no collar and that he didn’t look for a lost dog picture.
The next day Marley puts a sign up that says he found a dog and told what color she was and lots of other things. Three days went past and no one came to their house and got the dog. The fourth day came and the dog’s owner came and the dog’s real name was Sally. The owner’s name was Dave and he said I think you found my dog. Marley asked him what she did when she needed to go out and use the bathroom, he said she whines at the door. Marley was really upset and he had to give Sally back to Dave the
