Disappearing Teacher
Mrs. Ellsworth just started working at Northview School. She's a tenth grade math teacher. One day she was drinking some juice that looked like fruit punch. Then she suddenly vanished. You can still see her clothes and hear her but she's invisible. What will happen to her life now?!
It was October 20, their 72 day of school. Mrs. Ellsworth always has a drink at her desk. Normally it's just fine but today she turned invisible. Nobody could figure out what happened. She just kept teaching and some students didn't notice she was gone. This class period went on but when it was time to leave everybody noticed that you could only see her clothes. Everybody asked what's wrong but she told them she was fine. Mrs. Ellsworth went
to bathroom to see what everyone was asking her about. When she looked in the mirror she could only she her clothes. She screamed. The only thing she could do was keep teaching the rest of the day. She told all of her classes she was fine. After school she went straight home to call the doctor. They asked what was wrong and Mrs. Ellsworth said, “ I am invisible and you can only see my clothes.” They got her an appointment right away. When she went there the doctor was waiting for here. She took her back and gave her a whole physical. She was fine except that no one could see her skin. The doctor say this was a sign of some ghost orchid leaves. When you consume a leave, your skin becomes invisible. To reverse the effects you have to drink 1 cup of the Caribbean Sea waters. The water has to be turquoise blue. Mrs. Ellsworth got her passport up to date and decided to go on vacation to the Bahamas. She was gone from school for about 1 and a half weeks. When she got back she was fine. No ones knows exactly who put the leaves in her juice since they are very rare. Mrs. Ellsworth never brought a drink that her class could see in case this happened again. About 6 other teachers in the Northview School District had this happen to them. Since these teachers have too many students, they cannot tell which one it was. This person continued to do this to other teachers in different grades as they moved on. But once they graduated nobody knows what happened to him. Maybe this was a plan of revenge for being mean to them.
It started as any ordinary day at Fowler Middle School, kids laughing and learning. But, at 8:51 AM, a classroom of students walked into a horrifying scene. Marilyn Tokzulott’s second-period class found their teacher dead on the floor behind her desk, murdered. Despite the many suspects, one stands out above all. Billy Plummer, the boyfriend of the victim's daughter, committed this murder. It is clear that the murderer was Mr.Plummer because of involvement in previous conflicts with Mrs. Tokzullot, presence at the crime scene and access to the murder weapon.
Ruby got to school and people started screaming and yelling “get her out” The crowd was also holding up signs that said “Black Only” or “White Only.” The Marshalls had guns with them to keep people that wanted to hurt her away from Ruby. The Marshalls would tell Ruby to keep walking and to ignore what the people where saying. Before Ruby was inside of school all teachers were arguing to which who would be Ruby’s teacher and Barbara Henry offered to teach Ruby Bridges. When Ruby came in the door Mrs. Henry greeted Ruby with pleasure and Ruby gave her a
It is often people establish judgments of others based on a fragile perspective that will probably change once they actually get to know them. In Lucy Maude Montgomery's short story "A Fortunate Mistake", the Wallace sisters discover this when they thought Florrie Hamilton did not fit with them, only to find out that she is actually quite the charming girl. Their change of perspective is evident in Nan's impression of Florrie after her visit, and in Miss Braxton's girls' reactions after witnessing the blooming friendship, between Florrie and the Wallace sisters. In my experience, I have also naively based my opinions of others on what people had to say about them, which proved to be a foolish mistake that I no longer made. Although one may not be able to help but base judgments and opinions on limited perspective, it is through widening perspectives that an individual can reach a better understanding of those around.
How a death squad came into her house one night and took her family, except her because she hid in the closet like her father told her too. Later she escaped to the neighbor’s house, where the neighbors took her and arranged people to sneak her out the country. Because her father was an editor her father thought that they had so much influence that they would be safe. She never saw her family again. They disappeared.

One night ,while working as usual, Jane Doe injects nasal spray butorphanol (Stadol) to a couple women who are in labor. Some of the women did not require the full dosage of the drug so she slipped the leftovers in her pocket. Once her shift had ended that night, Jane was getting ready to leave when she decided to use the restroom. When she was there she remembered that she had some leftover drugs in pocket. Jane cautiously looked around and checked every stall to make sure no one was there. She then took the drugs out and injected herself. Thirty minutes later a colleague finds Jane passed out in the restroom. She is immediately treated and once awake, is taken to a drug-testing facility to provide a urine sample. At the drug-testing facility Jane admitted to stealing the drug and justified herself by saying it helped her cope with the stress of taking on extra shifts, and caring for her two young children and her severely disabled mother. Jane said “I thought I could stop any time but I was wrong.”
One Valentine's Day, in a classroom, kids were exchanging cards. Two of them, named Ted and Jim, were best friends. After the exchange, they showed each other the cards that they got from people. They both received a strange card with no writing on it. As they showed each other these cards, there was suddenly a blinding light coming from the cards, and the next thing they knew, they were standing in a dark, quiet room instead of their noisy 4th grade classroom.
In Jane Tompkins, A Life in School: What the Teacher Learned, Jane uncovers flaws in the American education system and how poorly formal education prepares pupils for careers after schooling. She describes how her teachers at P.S. 98 used authority to form the person she is now, teaching at Duke. Her experience dabbling in alternative teaching methods established the path she took throughout her career. Although Tompkins experience is atypical of most students, I agree with her argument about how fear is a successful means of motivation for those that can succumb to it, but alternatives exist that have been demonstrated and are successful.
TC (a pseudonym) is a young third grader at a local elementary school. The school looks and feels like any typical elementary school anywhere in North Carolina. However, when you walk down the hall to the EC class is located, you see a room that has little light on inside. Occasionally there will be lights on but for the most part they are not. Once you quietly enter the room, one notices a whiteboard on the immediate right with a small group of 10-12 desks side by side in a “U” shape facing the board. The remainder of the room is divided into three sections. Each section has a “C” shaped table for the special needs teacher and the teacher assistant. In the last section closest to the wall, there is a metal swing hanging from a metal stand. There are several computers in the two outer divided sections but only the three computers by the teacher’s area are active. These appear to be where extra time is rewarded on these computers to play educational games. Because of the way the room is des...
It was St. Patrick's day and the day was coated with green. I got dressed in a green shirt, grabbed my bookbag, and stepped onto the school bus. When I got to school, everything seemed normal, at first. During class for the past week, we had been working on leprechaun traps and today was the day we would put them to the test. We put the finishing touches on our traps and cleaned up our mess. Our class had to leave the classroom to practice for the spring musical. When we left the room, it was spotless, but when we returned, the class shrieked in surprise. Toy bins were overturned and lying on the floor, colorful Legos spilling out. Tables were flipped over and chairs were upside-down. I ran over to my leprechaun trap to see if it had

The landlord made him very angry and he decided to run the experiment on himself. Once he was invisible, he destroyed his machine, and because he was so angry he burned the house down. As he walked the streets he was leaving muddy footprints. Some boys saw the footprints and the ghostly feet that made them. Immediately, the boys drew a crowd and started chasing the feet. This made him cautious, and he realized that it wasn't going to be easy to stay invisible.
