Complications in American School System

Education always has a different purpose for each generation. For example, in the Ancient Century people used to think that education was spiritual. However, in 1661 many people did not think that education was what they really needed, because at that time people who knew how to work physically rather than mentally got money. After some time, a society came to the conclusion that education is a power that can control and make people more disciplined. Nowadays people go to college just because they think that it is the way to get a good job and money to better live in a future. in the USA? Education system in America is falling apart; it seems like each year the system is increasing in several different ways. It is the huge problem for American society, because there is no equal opportunity for everybody to get education.
One of the problems with the American education system is that most of the teachers are supposed to follow certain standards in education system.

In the essay “Still Separate, Still Unequal,” the author gives an example about a teacher in California, who wanted to bring a pumpkin to a class on Halloween, but she could not because it was not accepted by California school standards ( Kozol 212). The teachers cannot teach how they want and that is the reason why students find their classes boring. Children at the school age are interested to get a new information and knowledge by unusual way, for example by games, but because of the typical school programs they get boring and tired very fast, which makes them do not pay attention on a teacher carefully. That is why it became more often when children try to find something interesting outside of school, which could be video games or even drug addiction. It is not their faults, because these children just wanted to find something more interesting than typical school programs. As a consequence, there is high dropout rate in U.S. high schools, which has not positive effect for the whole American nation. Another negative thing about standard programs at school is that it is not good for each student, because for some of them it could be easy, while, others,

however, have difficulties with learning subjects, and it is different for each school. For example, in some schools students could not answer on easy questions, for example, when the Civil War took place, even if they had a wide range of choices (Moore 124). Another point is that these programs make children to be average, similar to each other. The all sudden that education does not teach to be unique and think outside of the box, because nowadays it is more about standards which students and reaches have to follow. Most of the times, teachers want their student to think just like them and no how else. In nowadays society teacher frequently, make children to follow by their own view, that the children will not be able to have their own opinion for the things. Teachers are not expected children to think critically and analyze problems. That is why it is not a surprise that children have difficulties to live in real world, because they were taught at schools to estimate things in real life. As a result, teachers play a huge role in children’s education, because if they are not good enough, children could miss some important things. Why there are good and bad teachers?
