Steve Jobs was an American entrepreneur and inventor, who co-founded the company we all know today as Apple. Steve Jobs was born on February 22, 1955, in San Francisco California as Steve Paul Jobs. Steve Jobs biological parents were Joanna Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, but when Steve was born they offered his up for adoption because both Joanna and Abdulfattah were still in college. They then moved on with their lives while Jobs was still in an orphanage. Steve Jobs never went to the gym every day his true strength came from his mind and how he saw the world. He had many ideas on how the computer and phone could be manufactured and produce in an elegant and effective way. The ideas lead to fame and fortune as well as introducing a completely new generation of electronics. Steve Jobs was never afraid of putting his ideas into a reality, even if it was good or bad. It was his courage and strength that made him who he is to this very day.
Even if Steve Jobs was given up for adoption he never let that bring him down, he soon realized he was really interested in technology. Steve Jobs faced many challenges in his life when he was trying to change how to get a computer in the hands of everyday people. But with all those challenges came much success in his company. When he released the first Mac computer everyone could not hop on board and pay that much money for a home computer. As the company released the Mac, they were losing more profit than gaining profit. Sir Steve Jobs, the almighty co-founder of Apple started apple dreaming big. The Harvard College dropout carried through with that dream. According to Leander Kahney, author of “Inside Steve’s Brain,” “apple went public 1980 with the biggest public offering since 1958” (2008), this offer proved successful as apple soon became a super power. Steve Jobs was an incredibly successful individual. In his 2005 Stanford commencement speech and Steve Jobs: An extraordinary career, Jobs’ reveals the habits he put into practice to achieve his success. There are two habits Jobs’ utilized, be proactive and begin with the end in mind.
The development of Apple Inc. came during the unstable economic times of the 1970’s. Best friends and college dropouts, Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak pooled their electronic and business skills to market what was to become the first personal computer. Stephen Wozniak had designed a small computer, the Apple 1, for the enjoyment of some friends at a Homebrew Computer Club meeting. The Apple 1 developed in Steve Jobs’ bedroom and garage, while he envisioned the commercial potential of a personal computer that could help families with personal finances and small businesses with day to day tasks. Vision, drive and creativity allowed this entrepreneur to take the risk to create a business. The challenge of building that business and the desire to control his destiny required passion and perseverance along with innovation.
Jobs had a talent at recognizing other talent. It was Steve Jobs who made Apple leave the garage and make leaps and bounds in the world of technology. Steve Wozniak made the first prototype, but it was Jobs who “saw the potential” in his computer and persuaded Wozniak to sell it (Peterson 106). Even though that first computer saw very little success, Jobs knew that Apple had potential and so released the Apple II. From the beginning Jobs knew what the consumers wanted, and where computers were going to take the world; he had a vision of the opportunities in technology and saw that Apple needed to move in a different direction. In 1984, one year before he left, Jobs finished the Macintosh computer system. He was pushed from his original computer design project, “the Lisa”, and then raced to release the Mac first, but the Lisa was released to the public first. Although the Lisa came out first, the Mac “[became] synonymous with Apple, mark[ing] a…revolution in…personal computing,” (Peterson 106).

In 1997, NeXT Inc was acquired by Apple Inc. In 1986, Jobs bought The Graphics Group. In 1995, the first film, Toy Story, came out. It was a big success and Pixar became one of the biggest animations producing company in the market. Jobs had opportunity to return to Apple, after Apple decided to purchase NeXT Inc. After Jobs returned to Apple, He started to invent new product. iMac was introduced to market and Jobs became permanent CEO of Apple. Apple started to expand their expertise under Jobs guidance. Apple started to introduce digital appliances like iPod, portable music player.
