In the eyewitness account encountered by Dr. Elwood Harvey, he saw a brutal auction of slaves in front of him. He saw the slave’s clueless faces when they slowly walked up the platform in front of many greedy future owners. All of a sudden the slaves got a glowing eyeball of fear realizing they were about to be sold. The slaves broke into complete chaos: some hid, some collapsed, some tried to keep close to their family, and some stood brave on the platform. The slaves stood there not wanting to be sold to the dreadful deep south. Some stepped up onto the action platform bravely trying not to cry in front of thousands of owners. The owners stripped all them naked to inspect them closely to see if they are right for their labor. They separated
Large numbers of comedians began adopting the styles that Carlin is said to have pioneered, from his political rants shadowed by Lewis Black, his observational comedy and word play used by Jerry Seinfeld. Seinfeld in a posthumous article said "You could certainly say that George downright invented modern American stand-up comedy in many ways. Every comedian does a little George." Seinfeld goes onto say while chatting with other comedians about joke ideas they would say “Carlin does it.” or “Carlin already did it,” and “Carlin did it eight years ago.” Another disciple in the University of Carlin's is Louis Székely known to us as Louis C.K. Louis honored George in a post-obit tribute in 2010 at the New York Public Library by saying that Carlin had a far-reaching effect on his career when at the time C.K. has been in place where he felt his comedy was going nowhere. C.K. said in a moment where he felt like nothing was going right he heard a George Carlin interview and that Carlin mentioned his method of starting every year with a blank slate and that it caused him to become more introspective. C.K. then took that concept and ran with it and is now one of the most popular and revered standup comedians of today. "Anything that happens to me that is good is due to this guy(Carlin), I can tell you because I do what he
Jerry Sandusky, Penn State football coach that was under the legendary Joe Paterno, founder of the Second Mile, a model citizen of his community, convicted on forty-five counts of child sex abuse (Crandall, Parnell, & Spillan, 2013).
It takes a long time to get to the top but he did it in no time at all.I chose Joe Louis because of what he did. I chose him because he is cool and did a lot of cool stuff. Now let's get in there. He started boxing in the 1930s there were no other African-Americans in the positions of public prominence. He was the first African-American to achieve hero worship that was reserved by whites only. He had a good run with his early life, late life and death.
Just like Bill Cosby is and was a role model for many his actions were justified by society, however this does not mean the actual definition of rape has changed. Just like stated in the quote, many will be justified, but not necessarily meaning that it is correct. What our current society is “hiding under the rug” and pretending like it is not there, not only shows us how controversial and twisted it is, but also shows us how much of a change we actually need

Has anyone ever wondered why, what made the tough Joe Louis join the sport of boxing? Before Louis held the heavyweight title for almost 12 years, Louis only had little schooling because his mother noticed he wasn’t strong at it, so she wanted him to have a musical career and had him play the violin. One day during his violin lesson, a friend of his recommended him to try out the sport of boxing because he was so muscular and tall. Ever since that day Louis hid his boxing gloves in his violin case; spending his afternoons in the gym rather than practicing the violin and became the great man he is today. Joe Louis is a rebel because he has improved the culture for all Americans and shaped their independence and character.
One example that can be used to show where an individual passed of something untrue as true can be associated to Gerald Barnbaum also known as Gerald Barnes. Gerald Barnes is a former pharmacist and convicted felon who posed as a medical doctor between 1976-2000. Barnes held the post of chief physician at a well-known health clinic and seemed to many the very symbol of Hippocratic virtues. Johnny cash is one of the most well-known amazing singer/songwriters of all time. His skill compares to no one else with his depth in his baritone voice, his strange song lyrics, his meaningful song lyrics, his guitar skills or even his funny story lyrics like from “A Boy Named Sue”. Also you might know Johnny Cash from his covers like “Hurt” by The Nine Inch Nails or “Rusty Cage” by Soundgarden. Some of his biggest hits that are his songs are “The Ring of Fire”, “Walk the Line”, and as I mentioned before “A Boy Named Sue”.
Batman was just about the start searching the city for more victims when another APB rang out. Yet again a body had been found, this time it was found on top of a factory in the Old Towne district. This victim was similar to the other two victims, head wrapped in bandages and was dressed in a hospital gown. The word “Broken” was also spray painted above the victim’s head. However, this victim was different the last two, because this victim was a woman. This ruled out the serial killer only targeting men, the killer was after everyone. Once again Batman found the cause of death to be cardiac arrest caused by an overdose of oxycodone. Yet again, Batman had to conduct a deep-tissue scan on the victim in the hopes of trying to find an ID and a
My father and Batman are both seen as heroes to me because they both share similar qualities such as bravery, perseverance, and understanding. For example, there was a time where my family went to the community park and we witness a brush fire started near the tennis courts. A lot of people were scared and didn’t know what to do but my father started getting jugs of water and started to try and put out the fire. My father was one of the only people who tried to put out the fire. Even though he knew he potentially could’ve gotten hurt, he still did it to protect others. Just like how Batman would protect the citizens of Gotham City from villains like The Joker, Bane or The Penguin. Batman knows he can potentially die facing off with these enemies but has the courage to do it anyways because he has to protect his city no matter what, like my dad trying to protect his family from the brush fire. Another characteristic he shares with Batman is his perseverance.
