Recommended: Stephen King influence on literature

Stephen King a man known for his horror novels such as Carrie, IT, Cujo, The Shining, a and several other novels that he has made. Over half of his novels have been made into movies over the years, some that have been made into movie adaptations, such as, The Shining which was released on May 23, 1980, and the recent adaptation of IT which was released on September 8, 2017. Stephen King can motivate and inspire people due to the fact he never gave up on his dream of writing, despite the fact that his family had little money to work with for him to achieve his dream.
Stephen King had a dream of being a writer, during his time as a teacher he continued to try to write his stories despite being rejected multiple times by different book publishers.

This dream, whilst continuously changing in the everyday lives of modern Americans, can be loosely defined as a national ethos of the United States, or a set of ideals dealing with freedom and the opportunity for success - an upward social status that can be achieved through hard work and effort.
