Admission to Ryerson School of Interior Design has been a vision for me since before high school. Capturing what you are passionate about in life and what fulfills you both personally and professionally has always been my goal. Throughout my young life, I have been fascinated by visual stimulus, from architectural structures, museums, home décor shows/blogs/magazines/stores, I knew that I wanted to contribute to this industry. In planning the next step from high school, I applied to Universities that seemed to fit what I was supposed to do, and an amazing opportunity came my way to live in Paris for a year, go to school and work as an International model. Now, I am ready to execute the next step and follow what I know I want and what I will

Since before I can remember, I have tenaciously dreamt of receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in New York City. Everything in my life has been geared towards achieving this goal, starting with my first photography award in the third grade. Although the thought of college can be daunting, I believe I am adequately prepared due to the education I have received and my ability to balance my responsibilities and freedoms.
After graduation of my high school, I’ve decided not to attend college. I spent over three months preparing for college admissions. Over three months of studying for the SAT and writing essays for colleges. But, all this hard work was blown away in just a week. The week before the May 1st, the decision day, I had made my decision not to attend college. I have decided to return to my country and start working. Of course, there was a strong disagreement from my parents, but I didn’t hesitate. For the past years, I have worked in many different kinds of places and I have faced the true reality. This made me want to attend college and brought me to Concordia College.
My aspiration to become an educator of the youth began from my experiences in high school. Working with small children as a young adult unveiled my eyes to the beauty of child development. I began to realize how vital those beginning years are in every child’s life. By nature, I am a helper and I never stop caring for others. I chose to study early childhood and childhood education for my undergraduate degree because I genuinely wanted to know more about how children learn and grow.
1. Earlier this semester I went to have a look around the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Unlike my many previous trips to the museum, the trip I took on September 7th was very different, my friend Griffin and I were on a serious mission. From our favorites we sought out the perfect piece of art to write an essay about. Upon entering the Hall of European Art, I gazed up at one of my favorite paintings in the museum’s permanent collection; A Portrait of Sarah Siddons. During my time in high school, I went to the museum on several occasions, one of which was for an event hosted to help AP art students find the right college. Although I had no intention of attending a university for the pursuit of artistic studies, my visual arts teacher urged me
When I was in middle school, my goal was to be an architect and to use my skills of math, art, and science to create an ideal environment. Over a decade of influences, hardships and opportunities helped in discovering that my greater interests lie within creating an organic experience that extends beyond a single building. What is unchanged is my commitment to use my knowledge and abilities to create a built environment that visualizes the emotions of the general public. I am not your typical applicant, I distinguish myself with personal discipline, ambition, and creativity. I hope to be a part of the progressive city planning that the state of Oregon is known for at the University of Oregon and its surrounding area. Thank you for your time and the opportunity.
It reminds me of just how fortunate I am to be able to help others, despite the sacrifice of time it often takes to do so. The overall sacrifice of participating in these activities inside and outside of school has been well worth it. I have learned so many life lessons and have greatly improved my own character along the way, helping me to pave the way to reaching my future goal. In all, I have learned to accomplish my goals and work towards my dreams in life. An important aspect of reaching my future goal of having an impact on the world involves deciding how I am going to make this impact. I have been researching the subject for months and, taking into account my own strengths and passions and have decided to act. Educational Goals: Education is extremely important part of my past, present, and future goals. I currently hold an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design Media. I have found that an A.A.S Degree does not go as far al I originally intended in the Rochester, MN area and furthering my education will be a necessity for my future career goals. Over the past 2 years I have been working on my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the Minnesota School of Business Rochester campus. I am currently a senior with 3 quarters left before a spring graduation. After a June graduation, I plan on taking a summer quarter break. After summer break I will either continue on at MSB for my Masters in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing or transferring the University of Minnesota for my Masters in Adult Education. After my Masters Degree is complete I will decide at that time if I wish to continue on and achieve my Ph.D.
One out of many goals that I have accomplished during my undergraduate was winning the Norman Art Council Award in an Annual Student Show at the University of Oklahoma. My awarded work focused on human conditions. Both events marked a special moment in my life because, at the age of thirty-two, I finally knew I had chosen the right path. I realized I have to push boundaries and step out of my comfort zone. Through much deliberation, I chose to leave my family and moved to Dallas in July of 2017 to pursue my aspirations. The solitude life resulted in a long-term, bigger-picture projects,
Learning is a continuous process and the day that you stop learning is the day that you start decreasing your rewards and lower levels of satisfaction. My ardent desire to acquire knowledge has motivated me to pursue higher studies at graduate level, and to take up a career in research in industry. I have taken this decision after carefully considering my academic background, profound interest in research and strong aptitude for problem solving.

I’ve met so many different people and I truly have enjoyed everything along the way. However, the School of Information Studies has given me so many tools to succeed and I seriously cannot thank the people who have helped me.

I had the freedom to explore my ideas through mediums and finalise these experimentations into one final piece, a final piece that we could all be proud of.

I am applying to the MSc degree program in Geology at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, starting in winter 2014. My previous education and work experience as an exploration geologist make me a good candidate for this program. I have a strong research interest in understanding different Earth’s Lithosphere and plate boundary processes in relation to petrogenesis, mechanisms of rock deformation and metamorphism, and dynamics of crustal fluid migration during these deformation events through a combination of field-based, experimental and theoretical methods; with emphasis to better define and understand the architecture of fertile metallurgic districts. My future intent is to become an academia based consultant – structural geologist, in the mineral exploration industry. I found this programme appealing, as I believe that it can provide me with the necessary knowledge and competence to deal with the technical and theoretical shortcomings that are confronting me by offering a balanced coursework in deformation and transformation of rocks, tectonics, geochronology, ore geology, computer modeling and mathematical geology.
