The film I chose to analyze was “Star-wars The last Jedi “. Although this film has not yet to been released ,I chose this film because it is one of the most raved about movies of all time and has already been advertised and highly talked about by fans. After analyzing the films site ,I found that most of the photographs on the site were of some of the main characters of the movie that many Star Wars fans will find familiar. The main attraction to the site is the live background, which includes action scenes from the movie . The live background scenes definitely made me more interested in watching the film and explore the page a little more. What caught my attention the most from the site was the “Story”. The story provides a small insight on
Nicole Hendricks USP 107 Final IDs Professor James Ingram. “Empire Strikes Back” Mayors Source: Lecture 18 Meaning: An “Empire Strikes Back” mayor refers to the white republican mayor that often times comes into office following a minority mayor. In cases such as the “Empire Strikes Back” mayor, the minority mayor has failed to hold forth to the issues that he intended to solve upon being elected. The minority mayor was elected in order to improve racial tensions. Yet, the minority mayor must somewhat “dilute” his stance in order to appeal to multiple ethnicities, rather than just his.
I thought Sling Blade was written and filmed well. It did get slow in parts, but overall it kept my attention. I picked up on minute details that on a regular basis I wouldn’t have. This paper made me see the underlying aspects such as the music, lighting, and script. It made me pay attention to what the characters were saying and how they were relating. I now look at film in a new light. I don’t just watch the surface. I dig deeper and watch for everything.
In the book Static Jedi, evangelist, communicator, author, and artist, Eric Samuel Tim, shares a story about a missions trip he took to the Philippines to help a church there.
Quite possibly one of the most iconic openings in cinematic history is “A Long time ago in a galaxy far far away.” Of course, I am referring to Star Wars. It is such a fascinating and great movie going experience. There have been a total of seven Star Wars films, but in this essay I am going to be focusing on Star Wars: Episode 3- Revenge of the Sith. This film was written and directed by George Lucas and of the science fiction genre. Revenge of the Sith was released in theaters on May 19, 2005.
The Conflict over the Star Wars Defense System Presently, the threat of missiles is very dangerous. The missiles include biological, chemical, and of course, nuclear missiles. Our nation, the US, is one of the richest and most powerful nations on the world. Since we are so strong, many countries threaten us and endanger the citizens. Lately, a system called the Star Wars SDI was initialized during the Reagan Administration.
American Romanticism and Transcendentalism has been a model for over a century in writing, but none has been so popular as the space western franchise known as Star Wars. For over the last 40 years, Star Wars has had enormous influences on society, though it is a story that has been retold countless times. George Lucas, an American Filmmaker echoed American Romantic and Transcendental ideas in his creation of Star Wars, which is perfectly seen when you compare the steps of the Hero's Journey and the journey of Star War's main protagonist, Luke Skywalker. There are many parallels between the two, especially in Return of the Jedi, the end of Luke Skywalker's Journey, and the last 3 steps of the Heroic Journey. By drawing parallels between the two, it is easily said that Luke Skywalker is the American Romantic hero.
“The Mission” is based on a true story that occurred around the borderlands of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil in the years 1750’s according to the film and history. The Treaty of Madrid of 1750 with the Spanish and Portuguese caused both havoc and death for the people of the Guarini and the members of the Jesuits. The Jesuits, members of the church, tried to bring Christianity and civilization to the natives while keeping at peace with Spain and Portugal. The Jesuits were the teachers for the natives; Teaching them not only the Christian religion but also civilization. Father Gabriel, a Jesuit, is first introduced in the film when he is showing his respects to a former Jesuit priest killed by the natives. He walks through the South American

The universe is in danger, and the only man who can help it is on the desolate planet Tatooine, living as a moisture farmer he was raised with strangers his father had left him with. One day his entire family was killed, and a strange man appears and shows him the Force. This man goes on and trains him in the ways of the Jedi. Ben Kenobi, alongside C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, and Han Solo, all showed Luke what a family and life could be like. Luke even found a girl whom he helped escape captivity. This former farmer saved the universe, but lost his first master, and then his second master. This boy was Luke Skywalker, son of the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker.
Ask yourself the question, what does courage mean to you? Flying through space, Luke Skywalker had to accomplish many tasks. For example: blowing up the Death Star, surviving in the dead of winter on Hoth, training with Yoda, getting his own hand sliced off, and eventually killing the leaders of the empire. We see these task as courageous events that heroes must face in order to earn the respect of everyone. However, after rewatching the original trilogy, I’ve seen that Luke performed all of these miraculous events through his feelings. His desire. His faith in himself. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that courage is not jumping into endless danger. But rather, courage is doing what one believe to be true, regardless of the opinions of those surrounding said person.

On January 14th, I spent a total of 85 minutes exploring the ART 150 Matrix. I visited the following 14 links, spending at least five minutes each in the ones followed by an asterisk: EU, PM, KR*, QC, AX*, RU*, KA, QZ*, YJ, TK*, CC, IO, BL*, BR. I spent more time on the videos, not only because it took more time to watch them but because they were better examples to see and understand film and animation. From the short story to the music video, each had they own story, purpose, and something to learn.
