Imagine you’re watching Star Wars or Inception, The people…. composers who wrote the soundtrack for the movies are an important part for the movie success. Re-watch the movie and keep the volume down, turn the subtitles on and see the experience and how it differs. Fast forward time, okay so you did right? It’s not the same is it? No of course it’s not if you said it was then blasphemy! In a sarcastic tone. Movies aren’t the same with no sound, sound is the essence of movies in recent times. Just as in games. Even a book uses sounds in a different way than movies, nonetheless it does. Sound Is life, literally, sound is an essence of life. Sounds creates the mood for scenarios in movies, books and life. Caesura: This is what a chick flick movie is made of, dramatic pauses. Caesura is a dramatic pause in the middles of a line such as Euphony: You ever heard a song by the name of “Shenandoah”? Well if not listen to it. (The link will be below.) This is the prime example of this word euphony. Euphony is sound that is pleasing. Cacophony: Remember that teacher that had long nails and would scratch the chalk board? Well I do and eek! Or a baby crying. This is what we would call cacophony, a sound displeasing to the ear. Each of these keywords are factors of a poems sound and the attraction connection between the poem and the readers. It’s sort of like a love connection… no its exactly like a love connection! Its two high schoolers, now we know how dramatic high schoolers are. Its two of them flirting back and forth being gewy and highly annoying, repeating how much they love each other. Then they break up… this is the worst part, it’s like my sister first boyfriend, they cry 24/7 so dramatic, displeasing to hear. What? Really…. They’re back together?
