There are many ways that the video “Star Wars Legacy Revealed” connects to my life and my journey. There are three main ideas that connected with my life. The first one is how king arther was the boss and the leader. Through my life my Dad has been the main leader and the king of the house. When ever I got in trouble he would be the one to always yell at me and put me in my place. Even when it wasn't me and it was my brother he would still put my brother in his place. The next reason is how luke was the hero in all the movies when he came into the picture. He was just like odysseus how he was the savior. While Kylo was able to kill his father with no guilt, he cannot do the same with his mother. As Kylo backs off the trigger, a stormtrooper finishes the job and blasts Leia and the other commander into space. As Kylo flies away, Leia is seen floated in space, stiff and still. This came as quite a shock to the audience but at the same time we expected it due to the death of the actor, Carrie Fisher. When Leia is out in space, portrayed as being dead, her hand moves and she uses the force to bring herself back to what is left of the ship (The Last Jedi). The scene has been described as the “trippy scene in which a character floats into resurrection” (Dargis 8). This is the first time in the Star Wars Saga that Leia has used the force.
