To me, the government spends too much on things that are irrelevant to United States citizens. This country lacks funds for healthcare, education, housing, and other things that are truly needs for our people. Instead, I can see that new stadiums are being built in big cities all over the United States. Who is paying for these enormous structures? Are these stadiums being paid with stadium subsidies? A stadium subsidy is a type of government subsidy given to professional sports franchises to help finance the construction or renovation of sports venues (Wikipedia). Are there any benefits to these structures being built? Do these benefits even outweigh the cost of these stadiums being built? Yes, I agree with stadium subsidies’, and I think that these funds are beneficial to a city or town.
What are the benefits to a town of building a new stadium? Yes the benefits of the government building a new stadium will outweigh the cost because it will take a enormous amount of money to do that because you will need workers such as carpenters, welders, painters and more and the cost of the materials would be another portion of money and the cost of concession workers, ticket holders, security and just from estimating that will take up to 3.2 million dollars or more and that money doesn’t goes to the local economy it goes to the players, and the workers because when you build something new you will need workers like engineering for the lights and power source and you will need players so that they can entertain the fans than the population of the games will start to
