I want to demonstrate how to prepare for final exams

It is important to be stress free during final exams and this demo is the best way to do that.

Why this demo:
The reason I choose this topic is I personally have experienced few times.9p=-/I felt good
during some exams and some not. I used to see my brother going through this and
few of my friends. So I came up with some thoughts which will make that process easy
Why listeners should know:
How many of believe that you are a student all your life. And you often come up with
exams of different kinds all your life. These principles can be applied to any
kind of contest/exam/game/job to name some every walk of life
Once after this demo you pretty much can apply these instructions immediately and you
will see the best results.
Demo Speech Outline:
1) Smart Work:
a) Reviews: Go through the mistakes you have done in the previous exams (mids)
b) Get help. Ask a teacher or try comparing notes with a classmate. That way, if you didn't get the information from the lecture, you can get it from each other during participation.
2) Parameters:
a) Stress free : How relaxed are you
b) Preparation: How good are you prepared, Being proactive
How many of believe that preparation is the separation. Health. How is your health condition (right food, ill free)
3) Productive ways:
a) It's important not to cram. Cramming isn't a productive way to study because it's hard to learn so much information in a short time. Study ahead of time, because you can put only so much more in your brain.
b) Have a note-taking system that works for you. Take notes as if you had to rely on them to pass the course.
c) Start making a pre-test. Collect questions, problems, essay topics, etc. from past exams and homework assignments. Take the test a week or two before the final exam to see where you need to focus your studies. Decide where the test questions come from -- the textbook, the lecture or both.

What I mean by this is I prepare for the exams and put myself in an exam environment and do it. Then I come up with the personal review of my performance.
One of my studying techniques is to have one of my family members verbally assess me on the topic of examination based on information in my textbook for the given subject. This compares to what I have just learned because I sometimes alter the location of study during these sessions, such as one time in the dining room and one time in another room of the house. However, I would always stay on one subject for a long time, which may not have been a very good idea. Another studying technique that I used to have was studying the night before or the morning of the exam because I thought (with the influence of a girl from my fifth grade class) that the information would be easy to retain since it was so recently reviewed. This compares to the article since all of the material comes back to me, but is mostly forgotten long after I take the examination.
Organization: Topical pattern. Audience analysis: The audiences are raging from 20-21, and are currently residential students at Liberty University. They are all from South Korea, but each has different backgrounds. Topic: Nursing can be used to show and share the love of God.

The degree of stress and the desire to make the changes will determine the level of change that will take place. If a student wants to change the amount of stress in their life, they have to be willing to work and manage their time properly, even if it means sacrificing hours from a job or a night out with friends to study for a test or write a paper. Many students feel an increase in stress and anxiety when writing a paper, meeting a deadline, or studying for an exam. This can cause twitching, trembling, muscle tension, headaches, sweating, irritability, fatigue, and even dry mouth (Anxiety, Stress, and Tension). This one being your first year in college, you may have trouble concentrating while you study. Some techniques that can help your concentration are being selective, relaxing, and over learning. Being selective means to make choices about what is most important to learn. When you are studying, you should be able to know what may or may not be on the test, your notes for the week can be helpful. In addition, pay attention to charts, tables, and illustrations that you think may appear on the test. Relaxing is a good technique to use because when you are relaxed you are able to absorb more information. One way to relax is to use a breathing technique (inhale, count from one to ten, and exhale, and count from one to ten, and so on). Over learning can help you fight mental vagueness. When you are struggling in a class, it is best for you to learn more than you need to know about the subject. You can use these techniques every time you are studying or when you cannot concentrate.
Nowadays, stress is a major burden in the daily life of the average student, and it seems harder and harder to tackle it and eliminate all the factors that cause it. Students find it hard to concentrate on studying since there are a lot of deadlines and exams causing additional pressure. Stress in the form of anxiety and worry about past or future study-related experiences disturbs one’s well-being and students are not doing well anymore (Schutz & Davis, 2000).
The different types of learning styles are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Visual learners prefer to study with the aid of visual stimulus like diagrams, images, drawings, mind-maps. Auditory learners prefer to study by listening, watching videos with sound, and reading out loud. Kinesthetic learners prefer to study by actually doing an activity, writing out notes while in a lecture, doodling while listening, or practical work. These learning styles will benefit you in developing a studying and note-taking routine. When you know your learning style, you can adapt your notes accordingly. For example, visual learners may want to use symbols or color coding while kinesthetic learners may want to use doodles to display information. Note-taking is an effective way of studying and will help students feel more confident when exam time comes around. In addition, simply reading through textbook pages is not effective, you must annotate your text to fully process the information. For example, highlighting the text is a good way to emphasize the main concepts that you will need to grasp for the exams. No one is going to take your exams for you so it is best that you adapt your note taking and reading methods to fit you
A specific strategy that I used to overcome my obstacle to my success in college is to manage my time. Throughout the course I learned that it is very important to manage my time, or have my stuff in order. Not managing my time can result to not having time to study for tests, to do my homework, and even for some extra help. two tips on how to manage my time is to not overload myself with too many classes and not work a lot if I am a full time student
I will high light key phrases or things that I know that is important to remember. I will go through my notes, my text book, lectures from class ect., and I will take pieces of information from different topics. These pieces of information are usually important to me, because they will remind me of other material that I just can not get stored into my memory, and fills in the blanks for me. Personally, I am an advocate for cramming the day before the test, but not right before bed. Instead, I study first, do a little bit of homework, study some more, finish my homework, and then study once again. If I study a little bit each night, by the fourth or fifth night I will begin to feel as if I have over-studied and then begin mixing up each piece of information. In this essay, I have compared and contrasted both methods and it should be much easier for each student to choose a way that works best for them. Both methods can be effective, it just depends on the students’ personality in general.
There are three types of learning styles. They are: auditory, visual and kinesthetic. An auditory learner processes information by hearing and discussing the information. Visual learners process information through visuals such as charts, pictures, and other types of printed information. Kinesthetic learners process information by muscle movements and experiences that are hands-on. Through the assessment I have discovered that my strongest learning style is a visual style with a score of 13, followed by kinesthetic, 8, and lastly auditory with a score of 4. Based upon this, my strength is using a visual learning style. The things I do now in studying that are within the guidelines include: read the book chapters and highlight while reading, pay special attention to charts and diagrams shown in the book or in class. By reading and highlighting I have found I can quickly go back through the information and reread the important facts, helping me remember them better. The more times I go over the information, the more effective I am come test day. I have found it very easy to read charts and diagrams in textbooks. Generally, by being able to read certain charts, it is much easier and faster to comprehend the information than if I was to read the paragraphs about it. The first thing a person can do to improve their study habits is take better notes. When taking notes you do not have to write down every word the teacher says, if you do that you’re not going to know what's important and what's not important. If you do that you’re going to be studying things that’s not important and that could confuse you and make studying really boring. Write down only the things that you think are important. You can even read ahead in a book and highlight what you think is good information to know. If the teacher says anything more than once, or puts emphasis on something, highlight that it could be on your next test. Good thinking skills are especially important in note taking.
