The narrative of my chosen story, Space Jam, is about looney toon characters who must face off against a bunch of aliens. The only things is that the aliens are doing this so they can have the looney toons as an attraction at their lame theme park so it was serious match. The aliens soon are seen taking the abilities of nba all stars so they could win but this is clearly cheating. The looney toons see that they were going to lose so they recruited the best man for the job Michael Jordan. Then the big day came where the looney tunes took on the aliens. The looney tunes had a slow start but soon they had an amazing comeback and shot a buzzer beater and won. This story has to morals one is to never give up and the other is cheaters always lose.
The reasons behind the choice of this movie is because it is such a good movie. All the aspects are amazing and the story has an amazing moral. Also it would be nice to see a sport themed musical. it would look fantastic with an arena vibe. The soundtrack reached #2 on the Billboard 200 and was certified as double platinum less than two months after its release which is just amazing. They managed to get nba players like Larry Johnson, Patrick Ewing, Shawn Bradley, Muggsy Bogues, & Charles Barkley to act in a cartoon movie. The movie was so good and appealing lebron james said he wanted to be in space jam 2. The reason i think this would make an effective musical is because the music in the movie is one of the most loved music in the world. The technology we have today could make a theme park, basketball court and a stadium scene in just one theatre. Think about how funny it would be to see michael jordan's arm extend 3 meters in real life. If this was made real we will bringing an old,retro movie up to date and a lot of Audience: Our audience will be for everyone as it is based on a sport movie for all adults. It also has looney tune characters for kids so they can enjoy. The movie has an incredible comeback story and and shows great morals that anybody from any age group could use and learn from. This movie is quite literally for anyone. There are many reviews that came from adults that say 10/10 or one of the best animated movies ever made they rewiews quite clearly suggest that this famous one of a kind movie is just fantastic for all ages.
It all began with a childish game of jumping out of a tree into a river, a test of guts and will. All fun and games until that summer day when the star athlete is ready to jump out while his best friend follows him up the tree to jump next. The branch is shaken slightly, and suddenly the schoolÕs top athlete is lying on the ground with a broken leg. This event seems so small and feeble, but it will soon not only tear a friendship apart, but the whole school, as well.
Bill Meissner is an author who enjoys writing stories about baseball that include nothing about baseball. In his stories there are many hidden messages which the reader tries to decipher and figure out the theme. Meissner uses baseball as his main attraction to catch the reader’s eye. Bill ties the character to baseball so he could demonstrate symbolism, which could help discover the theme of the story. In all his stories he establishes a lesson in which the character will uncover throughout the journey. The character in this story acts as a “weak” (42) human being which triumphs at the end by becoming the total opposite. In the story “Midgets, Jujubes, and Beans”, Bill Meissner expresses the theme of how a person should never lose hope on something they love by using a boy named Martin experiencing various challenges and in the end coming out on top.
Barney, the main character in the story, is a teenage boy who has to stay another boring summer at his parents vacation rental. Barney knows that the man who stayed there previously, is a Captain that had a insane brother, that just so happened to stay in Barney’s room, locked up, for 20 years in that room for being insane. He finds out that their is a group of teenagers his age, named, Zana, Manny, and Joe, that live at the cottage next door. When Barney meets them, he learns that their favorite activity is to play a board game called Interstellar Pig, weird right? Same name as the title of the book. Zena, gives him a brief description on the rules. Rules: Each player picks their character from a stack of cards. The characters are aliens with different
You’re 9-11. One more loss and you don’t make it to the playoffs. Do you want to play? Ain’t there nothing else for me to say to you. You got to make the decision to be a team. So before you go out there on the court, you got to work this out amongst yourselves.” At that time, all the players confront Brian about the issues they have with him and tell him to leave. As he’s leaving, Gary tells him to not walk out on the team, but Brain exclaims, “What team.” Gary follows him telling Brain to handle this situation like men. Brain tell his teammates that he doesn’t play for them, so Gary tells him he is right then asks him who he plays for and keeps badgering him about it until he answers the question and Brian tell Gary that he plays for his big brother Ray. He tells his team about his brother’s story about how he was a great player and how a drunk driver had killed him. Brian tells them that its there is a lot of pressure to fill his brother’s shoes and that his father has worked him so much to try to fill them and has to make his dad proud. After hearing Brian talk about his situation, his teammates tell him that they got his back and that they’re his brothers now. I agree his Coach Collins’ method he used because it brought Brian and the team together as a whole. Sometimes, when you have a coach yelling at you all the time, you need the coach to step aside
In the beginning there was a team of explorers made up of soldiers and scientists traveling through a Stargate, an ancient portal to other planets. They use the Stargate to explore new worlds, forge ties with friendly civilizations and protect Earth from hostile forces. In modern-day Egypt, professor Daniel Jackson teams up with retired Army Col. Jackson to unlock the code of an interstellar gateway to an ancient Egypt-like world. They arrive on a planet ruled by the despotic Apophis who holds the key to the Earth travelers' safe return. Now, in order to escape from their intergalactic purgatory, Colonel Jackson must convince the planet's people that Apophis must be overthrown.
“Earth people will beat out any other intelligent life-form in any and all competitions” is a theme, but “good always beats evil” is one too. “Once upon a time . . . ” stories have themes too, except they are more one-dimensional. For example,... ...
Elle puts up the shot and misses. She claps her hands hard showing she is disappointed in herself for missing. Everyone trying to get the rebound; everyone is smacking the ball from each other. A Mombas smacked it all the way to the left side of the court from underneath the basket. The ref says green ball but then gives it to us even though we are blue. The guards run to get the ball passed in but then the ref blows the whistle tweet. He says it’s the Mombas ball, everyone is so confused. Mombas pass it in; the ball is coming up court. Fast overhand pass toward the far right side of the court and 33 shoots. Misses, big girl grabs it and tosses it up and makes it;
Today I will write a short story (Not really short) on the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) player in basketball, Michael Jordan.
“Interstellar” a great science fiction story with so various elements. It takes us traveling through wormholes, into planets in other galaxies, and black holes. The characters keep colliding into the effects of relativity, which is well explained in numerous scenarios. It’s also a story about love and family, but there is a villain, whose actions result in shocking consequences for the other characters. There is a great deal of emotion expressed by the character, which makes a great impacted on how the movie is viewed. The movie will take place sometime in the future where the earth is slowly becoming uninhabitable because of a global crop plague and a second dust bowl occurring. The science fiction movie “Interstellar” does an excellent job portraying advancements in technology, astrophysics and real-life issues that could eventually happen, such as, food scarcity and catastrophic natural disasters.
When they doubted themselves as a team and their faith in God, they never won a game. But when they prayed and praised God in every aspect of their lives, there was a difference in their attitudes, sportsmanship, and school work. With the help of God, they grew as people and as players. I believe that this movie showed how a person’s faith in God will help them succeed in the good times and grow in the

Everyone is entitled to their opinion; however, whether a person backs up their opinion with credible reasons truly validates the opinion or not. It is more than okay to disagree with one other because of differences in opinions. Having a legitimate reason as to why a person does not prefer one thing and not the other will maximize their position and gain respect. I came into the course of Appreciation of Film disliking anything Star Wars or Star Trek related. Once I heard they were both in the genre of science fiction, I immediately labeled them as unworthy to watch. In spite of this wrong accusation, I had no logical reasoning for why I did not like these movies. I had not even sat through a whole movie. Watching Star Trek Into Darkness
Love is a word that’s been both miss-used and over-used all at once. Romantic movies change our definition of and have a big impact on this definition greatly. There have been many movies and novels made over love, but never like this. “The Notebook” is a love story about unconditional love that two people have for each other. This emotionally, heart touching story will have your eyes blood-shot and burning from you not wanting to blink your eyes. This tremendously wonderful love story will have you not wanting to even miss a millisecond of this heart throbbing film. With many plot twists and many scenes that will have you falling off of your seat and you not having any nails by the end of the movie, this is the movie for you. This emotionally rich film is full of action, laughter, and romance, which is the perfect trio combination. This movie shows us how love can bind us together forever. This film went above and
Have you ever wondered how your past experiences contribute to your path in life? Whether you consciously realize it or not the but the experiences we have everyday are what mold our morals. Our morals on the other hand are what we use to make decisions. The morals of a hero is what constructs the universal conflict. Establishing key details from the hero's journey will ultimately push the hero through their trials and eventually leading to resolution.
If I had known what was about to occur on this fateful day, I would not have run my mouth off nearly as much as I did. A full court, five on five basketball game had just gotten under way. Since I was voiceless because of my size and age I did not get selected to partake in this game. This was nothing new to me for I had always been ignored when it came to selecting squads. However, when the game would commence, my voice would be heard loudly and proudly. I would become the biggest trash talker on the court.
