Sociology Application Essay

My life, as well as many lives around me, have been constantly distracted by the social environment and the way society has developed and progressed in time. As for the modern mature student studying the concept of Sociology, Computing or Sport means more to me than just an academic subject studied for a fixed number of hours on a daily routine. It is a constitutive and central part of the society we live in, Although some parts of these topics are hidden within the society and we are blind to it. For example computing and sport we may not see it directly in everyday life but if we extend the thought of computing and sport it surrounds us all the time. We live in a world and the unknown hidden message it holds this is why I wish to study Sociology.

On the other hand, I have always enjoyed engaging in Physical activities and I have always had a keen interest and have felt very passionately when it comes to the practical and theoretical side of Physical Education.

I also have a passion for subjects that are sport related this has developed from an early age into my adulthood through watching my favorite teams compete and have the feeling of achievement and the motivation to carry on and become successful within themselves and as a team. This inspires me because it's more than playing the game it's the mental and physical motivation that goes into becoming the person who they inspire to be.

This is why I have also chosen to study sport and exercise science.

I often compete in 5-aside football at a local school because to me this means a lot in a social aspect as well as the physical aspect. I also learn and gain organization skills by attending and my knowledge of the sport also

This interest never left me, it only grows more profound and passionate with every new discovery I make. From communicating with unknown sources to seeing the wonders of the internet for the first time, computers have left me fascinated with just how much power yet mystery they hold. As previously mentioned computing plays a big part in the society we live in and it surrounds us in more ways we know.

I studied ICT system support at Wiltshire college Trowbridge and I can remember studying the module called technologies of the internet while studying this module I remember being intrigued by this as you get an understanding of the function of the internet and how the different types of communications take place. I was also intrigued by how to create, support and maintain the internet.

I loved learning the way how something such as computers can look simple and easy to understand but inside it is a maze everything is working together to become one solo object that has come so far in such a short time and how it has developed and still is.

This is why I'm also interested in studying Information Technology Management.

I wish to attend university because I want to develop and expand my skills which I know university will offer to me. I have many ambitions and I feel university can help me thrive and help me towards my
