Sociology, many who aren’t affiliated with it don't pay much mind to it, while in reality Sociology is all around us and plays a significant role in our everyday lives. Sociology shapes us, who we are, what we believe, and the culture around us. Everything we do and see is Sociology. It surrounds us and essentially, is us. It is a topic that is of great importance, as it allows us to understand why things happen. As mentioned in the instruction of this essay, “Why, what, when, and how” is what Sociology provides us with. Why do these things happen in Society? As we briefly talked of in class, the issue of class warfare? Why does it exist, why is there so much tension between the social classes and the different cultures of our country? One 2 dimensional reason of this would be racism, which is of course a factor, but there is still much more to these issues. These politicians like Donald Trump breed ignorance, and essentially blame the victim for our countries issues. He uses immigrants as a scapegoat, and people believe him simply because he states it, likely because they feel like they can identify and relate with him. Rather
