Students who graduate from Charles Darwin University are expected to have particular qualities that help to maintain citizenship within their future workplace. In the Forensic Science workplace social responsibility is a fundamental attribute needed for an employee to effectively communicate, work in a team and achieve optimum job performance. Qualities such as effective communication and teamwork will be displayed unconsciously if Forensic Scientists are able to work under socially responsible conditions. Corporate Social Responsibility is the most important attribute of a graduate employee looking to work in Forensic Science because it helps individuals align their work with helping their community. Although, without the aid of effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team, employees are left with work efficiency somewhat to be desired.
Corporate Social Responsibility encompasses a range of workplace skills such as teamwork and communication and because of this structure, social responsibility is the most important skill needed in the Forensic Science workplace. Individuals who are socially responsible within their workplace will think of ways to improve the workplaces appearance to the public and will therefore use effective communication to get their view of their workplace across and ask other staff members to assist them in doing this. Without the attainment of these three skills citizenship within the workplace will be non-existent and so this leaves Charles Darwin University graduates in a strategic position for potential work in the Forensic Science area as they have the three attributes necessary to maintain optimum job
Many people don’t know that social workers deal with more mental health than any psychologist, psychiatrist and psychiatric nurses combined. Interesting right? I would definitely have thought otherwise. Social work is a very unique field that is overlooked and should have quite a bit more appreciation than it does. Making it in the real world is tough but thanks to social work peoples civil rights are protected, people with mental illnesses are now able to afford humane treatment and society is more in tune with preventing child abuse and neglect. To be successful in the field of social work you have to care about what you are doing, have ethics, and have empathy… social work is not all about the money.
People’s lives are changed every day by their actions and experiences. This past summer, I participated in a community service project, an experience that opened my eyes in many ways. I was a volunteer at the County Memorial Hospital. In my time as a volunteer at the hospital, I was able to meet patients and staff members from all over the world and learn about their life experiences. Listening to all of their stories has made me truly appreciate everything which I have.

When you were younger I’m sure your teacher asked you and your classmates what you wanted to be when you grew up. I remember some of my classmates wanting to be a fireman, a police officer or a doctor. I wanted to be an educator. Being the naive and carefree child that I was, I had no knowledge of what responsibilities or rules would be packaged into this career. Now that I am in college earning my Bachelors in Elementary Education, my perspective of how a teacher should act and care for their students. Babies come into this world with physical, and emotional dependencies to others and learn about the world around them, including about themselves through early human interactions. The role of the parents is to provide a solid, supportive foundation to facilitate interactions creating a secure, loving environment for the child to grow. At the core of the infant’s healthy social development is the mother-child relationship. Parenting style and how well the mother respond to child’s sensory social signals, effect child’s aptitude to bond to others including to their peers. However, other factors are important, such as father involvement, mother’s mental state and peers support.
Generational conflicts, political strife, environmental regulations, stakeholders in big oil, and many more hurdles affect the push to fully sustainable economies around the world and even here in America. In a world where coal, oil, and natural gas are limited, countries are gobbling it all up as fast as they can before other poorer countries come on the grid. Even though America and other countries gobble up these resources the life of the people is still a struggle to meet basic needs. Sustainability is an intermingling of resource use and protection of the “quality of life”, it is met by using resources sparingly and by recycling or reducing the use of other non-renewable resources to provide for our immediate need, but also to conserve and protect the needs of the next generation and to improve the quality of all the lives to come.
A team is a group of individuals, all working together for a common purpose. The individuals comprising a team ideally should have common goals, common objectives and more or less think on the same lines. Individuals who are not compatible with each other can never form a team. They should have similar if not the same interests, thought processes, attitude, perception and likings.
Every individual has encountered social issues within a community. A social issue is often the consequence of factors extending beyond an individual 's control and local geographical environment. Social issues have evolved over time, ranging from underage drinking to gay marriage. What all social issues have in common is the affect that these issues have on a community. These problems point to the lack of balance and inequality which is a law of nature. History has proved that equality cannot be achieved on a physical level, but the idea of equality is still alive. Throughout, my paper I will discuss interrelation between discrimination, poverty, health, and violence. I will also explore their impact on the individual social issues.
