Have the people in this century experienced isolation more than the other generations and centuries? This generation has the highest percent of isolation and it’s caused by 2 things: Social Media and new technology. Also the new technology being made increases, which makes people pull away from their traditions and on to their phone’s abilities and tweaks to make them feel pleasure just for you and me. Antibiotic, aesthetic, practical.” This is right before Montag burned Beatty to death. Beatty explains the meaning of the flamethrower and its power to destroy to the point where people don't even know if a man can be able to create anything new. I think this is so powerful by how far they are not even thinking that a person can make their own thing, that what they do is limited and they don’t know how. Ray Bradbury really speaks to society today about social media and the new technology. We are slowly getting to a phase where everything is done or given to us.
